Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 32Excellent staff, great room
Eventho it is far from the downtown the hotel shuttle is very convenient. I would definitely stay there in future.

The hotel was great. The lobby was beautiful and the room was quite comfortable. The spa and pool area was amazing.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 32Noisy Neighbor
Our room was fabulous until our "neighbor" came in at 10:30 pm and blasted his music. Since the room had an adjoining door, we were awakened from a sound sleep. The hotel was apologetic, but do check to see that your room does not have an inner door. Otherwise, a lovely place.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 32More than I expected
Considering I thought I was getting a great deal on this hotel, I was surprised by how fancy it was when I arrived. Well, the lobby was fancier than the rooms, but it was still a nice stay. We had a good view from our room, and the hotel was generally quiet. The free shuttle to the CBD Viaduct was great. My only complaint was that the King bed was actually two twin beds, but I found this to be the case in nearly every hotel I stayed at in NZ.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 32Incredible Value
Seems like whenever I come to Auckland I'm coming off a long journey, or from some third world kingdom and have a need to rest up and give myself a treat. What could be nicer than a plush hotel after a small foam matress in the middle of the pacific. I've stayed at two other hotels in Auckland, one much more costly and one about the same as the Langham, cost wise. I will choose the Langham again, and again, and again. Great room, impecable service, great location, shuttle to downtown shopping, great staff and a great price. Great bed too, nice and firm. This is a classy place, all round. Truely an incredible value.

Excellent hotel at the price we paid.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 32Great Location
Our stay was fantastic. The Concerige was very helpful. I liked the free shuttle to the heart of the city. It was a little too close to a cemetery.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 32Great hotel
Great hotel, however, the location is not perfect. There are very few restaurants around the hotel that are not Asian food. Also right now, there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel and it was hard driving around it. The rooms were great, comfortable and the services the hotel provides were incredible for the price we paid.

This is a classic hotel in the Old World style. I only wish I could have stayed a week!

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 32Very good hotel
Hotel spa not open but overall, our stay was excellent. New spa under construction. Within walking distance to downtown although walk back is uphill. Free hotel shuttle if you don't want to walk. Fitness centre and pool very nice. Staff friendly and helpful.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 32Elegant Hotel
Rooms are large, nicely furnished, and filled with many amenities such as heavy terry robes, no-fog mirror in bathroom, good lighting, and luxurious bed and bedding. Elevators are fast and roomy. We arrived early and got our room immediately. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle service compensated for remote location. Only negative is that the restaurant prices are very high.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 32First rate top to bottom
This is one of the finest hotels I've stayed at. The rooms were lavish. The staff were professional, friendly and genuinely interested in meeting all our needs. The concierge was extremely helpful and information the staff provided about a self-park lot helped save money. The hotel is a little out of downtown, but a timely and free shuttle van makes the location a non-issue. One night the hotel took part in "Earth Hour," an eco-friendly event, by turning out the lights. To celebrate, the staff lit 1700 candles, provided free spirits and live jazz. Cheers.
