    These spacious, well-appointed villas are perfect for families - the benefit of a full kitchen with all the typical amenities of a hotel resort. The free, on-demand shuttle service is very convenient, and you have access to all the best beaches in West Maui. Definitely a 2-thumbs up!

    Great place to stay! We loved the location, the pools, the number of beaches to visit and the room itself. If you have small children you will want to drive to the beach and the pool at the Ritz, but they are all walkable as well.

Location. The Kapalua Villas Maui beachfront resort is located along three Kapalua Bay beaches in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. A total of 1,600 acres provides the tropical landscape for the villas, and the neighboring Ritz-Carlton Kapalua and Kapalua Bay

Features. The Kapalua Villas Maui accommodations stand separate from the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua and the Kapalua Bay Hotel properties, but guests of the villas receive signing privileges to these properties' recreational, entertainment and dining venues. More than one dozen resort-complex restaurants include Kai Sushi Restaurant, the signature Banyan Tree restaurant, and the Alaoa Lounge. Culinary offerings range from gourmet French and Italian, to Pacific Rim and Hawaiian. One of the resort complex' championship golf courses was designed by Arnold Palmer, and use of the resort's 10 lighted tennis courts is complimentary. The resort complex houses the Kapalua Golf Academy that offers professional golf instruction. On-site shops offer island-inspired merchandise and fine jewelry. A complimentary shuttle service transports guests to and from the West Maui Kapalua Airport, and throughout the resort. Guests have access to outdoor pools and to The Waihua Ritz-Carlton with an ocean-view fitness center and a 17,500-square-foot spa that specializes in natural Hawaiian healing techniques.

Guestrooms. The Kapalua Villas Maui offers 230 oceanfront, ocean-view, or fairway-view villas with one, two, or three bedrooms. Floor plans include townhouses, and loft-style or one-level units. Balconies are furnished with lounge chairs and tables. All units feature wet bars and full kitchens. Cable television is offered in bedrooms and living rooms. Accommodations include CD and DVD players. Wireless Internet access is complimentary.

Expert Tip. The Kapalua Resort is vested in environmental and native reforestation projects. The results of these eco-exciting programs may best be viewed via the resort's adventure tours. Guests of The Kapalua Villas Maui may sign up at the resort for zipline tours, participate in an eight-element, high-ropes challenge course, or tackle the four-station climbing tower.
