Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 44The loudest hotel I've ever stayed at
We stayed at the Juniper hotel to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary. We expected a quiet, modern hotel off the beaten path but were extremely disappointed. There was a different wedding booked at the hotel each of our 3 nights and it was EXTREMELY loud! The walls and floors are VERY thin so you can hear absolutely everything.... slamming doors, people yelling, music and much, much more. It's too bad because without the noise it's a lovely hotel. If you do stay at this hotel, request a room on the 2nd floor at the opposite end of the restaurant. If you end up on the 1st floor on the way to the restaurant like we did, you will not enjoy your stay!

Great room with fabulous view! The staf was also very friendly. In addition, the restaurant prepares wonderful food. We had the game platter and the bison short ribs which are both signature dishes and they were amazing!

Front desk was helpful everyday for dinner locations. Used free cab once to downtown and it was very easy. Would go back again.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the staff were outstanding. We really enjoyed the lovely veranda overlooking the town of Banff and the mountains.

We loved our stay at the Juniper. We found the staff very helpful and accommmading. The setting is a quiet distance from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Easy access to highway and downtown.

Best views in town from the restaurant's patio; the hottub is a close second. Staff was very nice and helpful, rooms were clean and very comfortable and had conveniences (mini fridge, robes, generous amounts of nicer coffee and teas) that are not often found at a 3 star hotel. A couple minutes outside of town, but we liked that - a bit quieter and more peaceful, to relax after a day of outdoor exhertion. Basically, my wife and I loved our stay at the Juniper, and if (when) we come back to Banff, we already know where we'll be staying.
