Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 34Beautiful!
The only thing that wasn't as I thought it would be from the photos was the patio. It appeared as though each room had a private balcony, and our balcony certainly wasn't private. But, we would definitely go there again!

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 34Nice Getaway
Hotel was very nice. First evening there was a smoke detector going off in the maids storage area all night that no one from the hotel heard so it made for less than a good nights sleep. The hot water supply is variable.Fireplace in the rooms is great and the location of the hotel makes it a great getaway.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 34Wonderful Experience
We received an upgrade to a mini-suite type room with an enclosed outdoor patio that was absolutely fabulous. It enhanced our overall experience with the hotel tremendously.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 34Outstanding hotel; Great value for the money
I have stayed in some well-known, luxurious hotes in Boston, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago and Washington D.C. This hotel was way beyond my expectations in terms of the condition of the hotel, the privacy, the staff, the beauty of the buildings and grounds, the updated bathroom, the exquisite furniture and the attention to every detail! I have already recommended it to friends who are looking for somewhere to stay. It was off the beaten tourist route for San Diego, but that is something I also enjoyed. I could do the tourist things, or I could enjoy the peace and quiet of the accommodations. It is without a doubt, the nicest place that I have ever stayed!!! It was a wonderful value for the price, which I understand does fluctuate, but well worth it! I plan on staying there again when I get a chance.
