Best hotel IN Telluride

If you'd rather stay in Telluride (further from the slopes but closer to the true feel of the most dramatically-situated Colorado town), the Hotel Telluride is your place. It's about two blocks from the main strip along Colorado avenue. Amazing complimentary (at least for my stay) breakfast concocted by on-site chef (the apple pancakes were perfect). Room wasn't super special, but it was nice, upscale and well appointed. Flat panel TV or spa-style tub would have been nice, but everything else was great.

Great hotel: beautiful, sunny rooms, great staff. Had refrigerator and combination microwave/toaster oven. Wonderful FULL breakfast with iced tea, fruit and cookies in afternoon. Nice workout room. Humidifier available in room!!! Complimentary bikes. Nothing bad about this place. Telluride is lovely. Grocery store 1 block away- helped with high resturant costs- common throughout this resort town. Lovely lobby with fireplace. Best hotel we have ever stayed in!!! Did not want to leave!!!!!!

Wonderful stay

Hotel is in a great spot, breakfast is the best we have ever had at a hotel. Would go back.

Hotel Telluride

1st night, the bed in the room was horrible. Management changed us into a new room very quickly without hesitation. After that, everything was very good.

Full Service Resort.

Everything was amazing about this place. Great spa, great concierge, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. For an experience in Telluride, I highly recommend it. I have been coming to this town for years and have stayed in many places. The Hotel Telluride was one of my best experiences.

Outstanding Hotel

The Hotel Telluride made an already lovely ski vacation that much better. The service was outstanding, with all of the conveniences you could ask for. They took care of all of our needs for reservations, transportation, etc. It's cozy, clean and just all around fantastic. The breakfast buffet is only outdone by the superb dinners at the Bistro. Can't wait to go back.

Great everything.

Staff could not have been better. Excellent included full breakfast each morning and fresh cookies in the afternoon. Not right in the middle of town but within easy walking of lifts and restaurants. If you like, their on call shuttle will bring you wherever you like. Highly recommended.

Great Boutique Hotel

We stayed at the Hotel Telluride during January 2009. The Hotel is very nice, maybe not a true 5 star luxury hotel, but very nice nonetheless. The staff was helpful and happy. We loved the free car service to anywhere in Telluride, which is important because the Hotel Telluride is on the far edge of town. Which reminds me, there is a $15/night parking fee, and you probably won't need a car to get around Telluride or Mountain Village, so ditch the car if you can. Everything was up to our expectations, and the breakfast was very good (and free). This is a great hotel for couples, highly recommended.

Outstanding Hotel

Very friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic gourmet breakfast was included. Hotel shuttle service was as good as if not better than ski in/ski out accomadations
