The Hotel Telluride

The boutique Hotel Telluride sits just four miles east of Telluride (Colo.), a premier ski resort in southwestern Colorado. During winters the Telluride Ski Resort offers downhill ski, snowboarding and cross- country skiing, and during summers the region abounds with outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, hiking and whitewater rafting. The Telluride-Mountain Village Station gondola, offering complimentary transportation between the two towns, is within walking distance of the hotel.

The Hotel Telluride's 59 guestrooms feature balconies or patios with sweeping views of the 14,000-foot peaks of the San Juan Mountains. They are embellished with custom furnishings of dark-burgundy upholstered headboards anchoring the hotel's signature Incredible Beds with matching bedspreads set against crisp white, 250-thread- count embroidered sheets. The guestrooms also come complete with refrigerators, CD players and overstuffed sofas and arm chairs with ottomans.
