Hotels guests, often celebrities, well- heeled skiers or sports enthusiasts, will enter the hotel lobby to experience a two-story atrium, with vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams and a stone floor warmed with wool rugs. Before a day at the slopes or a on a bike, guests can enjoy a full breakfast buffet in the Bistro, which also doubles as an tavern at night, serving complimentary après-ski cocktails in the evenings during the winter and summer seasons. Lunch and dinner are not served, but guests can walk or take the complimentary shuttle to restaurants downtown. Spa treatments, steam shower, spa tubs and a sun deck are available at the Aromatherapy Day Spa.
The Hotel Telluride's 59 guestrooms feature balconies or patios with sweeping views of the 14,000-foot peaks of the San Juan Mountains. They are embellished with custom furnishings of dark-burgundy upholstered headboards anchoring the hotel's signature Incredible Beds with matching bedspreads set against crisp white, 250-thread- count embroidered sheets. The guestrooms also come complete with refrigerators, CD players and overstuffed sofas and arm chairs with ottomans.
