Wonderfully Peaceful location

This is a wonderful location offering peace and quiet and a good place to base for Yosemite. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful and we would urge anyone to try this place!

Lovely vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the Loft at The Homestead. We came in tired and were instantly perked up by our host and hostess who greeted us cheerily and helped carry our luggage up to the room. They were ready with suggestions as to where to eat and how to best explore Yosemite NP. Absolutely no complaints from us.

Relaxing Stay in ideal surroundings

We stayed in "The Loft" for 2 nights and it just wasn't long enough however we made the most of it and it was incredibly relaxing! Our room was spacious but cozy at the same time and and there is even internet available if required. Much more "home from home" without the "corporate" feel of mid range hotels/motels. Our hosts Cindy and Larry couldn't have done more for us. They are very welcoming and will help but leave that decision to you, i.e. if you don't want "socialise" then there's no pressure to do so. We found the location very convenient for Yosemite, Bass Lake and Oakhurst which is 10 minutes away and has lots of good places to eat.
