Very Nice Surprise

Although this hotel is not a brand new fancy hotel, I was very surprised by the room and the price. When you walk into the room, you feel right at home. The suite had a full kitchen, a very comfortable living room area, and a great view of the beach with lots of windows. Also, the room was very clean. I was very impressed about the quality of the room...especially for the price. My only suggestion would be to add fans in the bedroom.

Beautiful

Our stay at the Grey Gull was very enjoyable-considering one of us had strep-The heated pool was just outstanding and it is in a prime location of Ocean Shores as it is walking distance from all there is to do in this great town. Stay here- you won't be dissapointed

Great Overall

The room at the Grey Gull was much nicer than I anticipated. I assumed I was just paying for the location and how close it was to the beach, but the room included a kitchenette, fireplace, and bay windows! It was a beautiful, clean, safe environment. However, the staff member whose name I failed to catch (an older woman) claimed that the minimum age for a room/concent was 21, when it was posted all over the internet to be 18. Unless that age requirement is true of and specific to Ocean Shores, the Grey Gull needs to have a staff meeting to update them. Also the guests on either side were fairly noisey, one with children and the other with dogs. Otherwise, no problems.

A room with comfort

Myself and my family really enjoyed the stay in the room. The kids especially like the pull out couches and the space to play on the floor and the games that were provided for them. As a dad the cleanliness of the room was a big relief to know that the kids were safe to play on the floor. I will definately come back to stay and will recommend that everyone stay there.

Outstanding

We were attending a wedding that began at 2:30. Check in time was 4:00. The staff found us a conference room in which to stay and stored our luggage for us until the room was ready. We zipped in between ceremony and reception and checked in. All rooms are suites, delightfully decorated, and even pet friendly. Lovely view of the ocean. Nice pool. But it is the staff that makes this place so special.
