Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 206Great Location and the Staff was very efficient and caring
The hotel was under renovation during our stay there. So therefore we did not get the opportunity to eat the Resturants. However, the staff made sure that we were satisfied with our room and went to the extent after a few days to give us an upgrade to a larger room and bed. Plus they threw in a bottle of wine.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 206Great Hotel/Perfect Location
This is a Club Quarters hotel- it fits well with the high quality of other Club Quarters hotels- good service, modern rooms (including fitness) located in interesting areas. This particular hotel is located across the street from Trafalgar Sq and within three blocks you are at St Martins in the Pines, the National Gallery, Covent Gardens and Liester Sq... theaters, bars etc- great stay.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 206Nice hotel, great location
It was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable room in great location. A short walk to the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery, and a not very long walk to Houses of Parliament, British Museum, etc. Very close to the Charing Cross tube stop. Only problem was that they had a power problem (which may have been scheduled maintenance) when we wanted to check in, delaying check-in by about 4 hours (they gave us a free breakfast when we complained).

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 206Outstanding
Location and very nice. This hotel was outstanding. You can take the train anywhere in London and there is lots withing walking distance. Located in Tralfgar Square and China town and lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walking. I loved it.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 206Good Hotel for London
There was no door man to help with your bags upon arrival. Check-in is computerized. The hotel is older and has been updated. The room was a little small but had everything that you need for a restful night. The bed was comfortable and it had a nice TV. The Location is great. I would definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 6 of 206One of my favorites
An excellent hotel where I have stayed since it was in its early stages.. They have done a wonderful job of making this an easy and comfortable place to stay. There isn't much what I would call ambiance but nevertheless I keep coming back

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 206Needs some upgrades
The rooms are fine, nothing special, but certainly adequate. They are clearly undergoing rennovations and hopefully that will lead to nicer ammenities. The lobby is rather sparse, only certain elevators get you to certain floors, and the guest services left something to be desired.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 206Great Location for Visiting London
This place is wonderful. If offers a nicely sized room, with smallish bath - complete though and well supplied - and a small closet. Good bed. The attached restaurant is OK, though very high priced. Right down the street there are other places cheaper, better, & with much better food. GREAT location if you are visiting London to see London. You are a half block from Trafalgar Square. The National Portrait Gallery forms one side of the Square. Saint Martin of the Fields church forms another. It has a great cafeteria & wonderful food service the basement. The nearest pub is Sherlock Holmes Pub right across the street. It features great Sherlock Holmes memorabilia & even better food if you are a fan of those wonderful books or movies. The movies play constantly, BTW. The beer is cold & the prices are A-OK. You are within walking distance of nearly everything too – from Saint Paul’s Cathedral in one direction (20 minutes walk) – or Westminster Abbey in the other direction (15 minutes walk) & the London eye right across the river (10 minutes walk). Every walk in London takes longer than just walking time, because there are so many memorials, statutes, & things to see along the way. You just have to stop & say “I remember reading about that!” Take a photo… I’d recommend this place to anyone who is visiting London to see the sights. You are near an underground station (Charring Cross) to get anywhere in London. No place in London is over a half hour away by Underground. ATMs are all over the place. Great service overall, even if the desk service is a bit ‘cold,’ from what we are used to here in the US. Maids were good and the rooms were clean. The only problem you could have is, the entrance is up four steps, & although there is a handicapped lift available, they simply won’t use it for luggage. So you better be able to carry your luggage up steps. There is a lift in the hotel to get to the various floors.

You couldn't ask for a better location in London. Half a block from Trafalgar Square. Room was larger than expected, everything worked as it should. Staff very attentive and professional.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 206Great location
Very nice hotel, good price for location. The service was ok, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but was on the last floor and had a great view of Big Ben.
