This hotel is a good value. The best rooms are the redone luxury king singles but there aren't many of these rooms. The hotel confirmed that I had a luxury king single but couldn't get me into one until my third day there. The one bedroom apartment they gave me was incredibly dark. Had engineers come up twice to put in brighter light bulbs.

Pretty Nice Hotel

For a older hotel that has been tastefully remodelled this hotel is a good value.

Good hotel for the money

Review for Luxury room: Equipment in kitchen is very old. Kitchen does NOT include silverware, plates or pots! Rest of the room is o.k but very old-fashioned. The room is very clean and in good shape.

Excellent Hotel

I wished that the kitchen could have been better stocked with basic items. Loved the service and staff. Overall added to our evening in Atlanta!

Outstanding Hotel

My sisters and I loved this hotel. The service was great and the rooms very comfortable. We enjoyed the location although there wasn't much shopping close by.

Great hotel

The hotel was in an excellent location for the football game we attended. Also, there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We had snacks, desserts and a few drinks one night and thought it was overpriced. Over $200! It included a service charge of over $38 which we don't understand. Should have asked then, not looked at the bill after we returned home. However, the hotel was excellent.

Poor service

Like other reviews on-line, the service needs improvement. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom suite. This is our 2nd time there, can't beat the location. As long as you don't need any service it's the place to stay. Poor management, poor desk attendants, poor door staff. Not a high quality serviced hotel.

Upscale in Midtown

Pros: A nice hotel in midtown. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite spacious. According to in-room information this property used to function as apartments because the room felt a little like a studio apartment with a full kitchen and a large walk-in closet. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Cons: 1) Had to request bath towels 2) Desk lamp missing light bulb 3) Floor lamp had wrong size shade, causing one of the bulbs to touch the shade and started to burn a hole through it. I feared this might start a fire, so I unplugged the lamp and removed the shade I mainly stayed at this hotel because of its connection to the film Gone With the Wind. I likely wouldn't stay here again because I prefer more mid-range hotels as opposed to upscale hotels.
