Great Condo for the money but. . .

Off season this is a great bargain. We were upgraded to a 2BR 2 BA unit that was decorated beauifully. Only problem is that the amount of construction going on in neighboring units was distracting. Jsckhammers going off all day long; and being given 30 minutes notice that the water would be turned off in the building on one morning. Also construction trucks took all available parking during the day and one of them side swiped our car which we discovered after the fact.

Needs improvement

Hotel Gant is no Ritz Carlton, poor in customer service, overpriced even for Aspen! When called up on the Hotel for basic requests, it was like I was bothering them....asking them for coffee (not left by the housekeeping staff) and a bottle opener that should have been in the room! The housekeeping staff spent 18 minutes cleaning a 2B/2B condo, and it showed, very dirty. We (my family) happened to be in the condo as it had snowed 12 inches in the morning. The hot tub area/shower was dirty.....no one had cleaned up all day. A shame as the Gant could be a great destination however with its poor customer service and shabby cleaning...its not a RITZ. When the front desk called they reminded me of the 10 a.m. checkout...how rude! May I never visit again.

Great Hotel, Great Location

We stayed for 4 nights in one of the condos. It was very well appointed, very clean and full featured. The king size bed (very comfortable), large bath (wit heated floor) and large kitchen were perfect for us. We were there in November when it's starting to get pretty cold so the fireplace was perfect when we came home in the evening from a local restaurant. It is located within walking distance of downtown and the restaurants. Parking was easy and checkin/checkout was simple and straight forward. The kitchen let us pick up food for breakfast which we could prepare without having to go out and at a time which suited us. All in all, highly recommended.

Excellent, we will go back again

The staff is exceedingly competent and courteous. Seems as if there was nothing beyond the concierge... from dining recommendations to booking a back-country snow-showing expedition. The two room condo was roomy, modern, clean and comfortable. The location is within a couple of blocks of the ski lifts. There was always a van ready to take us wherever if we did not feel like walking. In short, great place for a reasonable price.

Great place to stay in Aspen

We were in Aspen for 4 nights and since I go out early in the morning to photograph, having a place that we could prepare breakfast when I got back without worrying about restaurant serving times was great. The place was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bath was great, and the kitchen was modern, fully equipped, and quite functional. The fireplace was a nice touch (along with the hotel-provided wood) and the large flat-panel tv was great for when we did have a chance to watch. Wireless internet was also reliable and a nice feature. It was easy to get to and you could easily walk to most places in town to eat, etc. I would recommend this place any time. We'll certainly stay here again the next time we're in town.

Great place, perfect service.

After taking my fiancee out to dinner I brought her over to the Gant. I had flowers and rose petals sent to the hotel ahead of time, not only did they set these up for me but they also gave us a room with one of the best views in the entire hotel. Everything was totally perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the location is phenomenal. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would most definitely stay there again. Only regret is I had to be back to work Monday morning.
