    I have stayed at the Franklin Hotel several times before and have enjoyed myself every time. This is a asmall, charming hotel with small but comfortable rooms. It is much more like a European hotel than a New York one. A delicious continental breakfast is included with the room and there is a light snack provided in the afternoon. The only drawback to our otherwise lovely room is the size of the bathroom which is minute. In spite of that I would stay here again whenever I could.

Location. The Franklin Hotel is located in Manhattan's exclusive Upper East Side neighborhood. This residential hotel offers a quiet escape from the busy city, yet is close to New York's cultural center, famed museums, exclusive shopping and eclectic restaurants. The 843-acre Central Park's gardens and lakes provide plenty of opportunities for walking, jogging and winter ice skating.

Hotel Features. The historic Franklin Hotel greets guests into an intimate lobby with elegant European style. Fresh flowers fill the numerous sitting areas in the living room off the main entrance. In one alcove, European continental breakfasts are served, which also features a 24-hour cappuccino and tea machine.

Guestrooms. Hotel accommodations include guestrooms with soothing green hues, chandeliers, neutral carpets and contemporary dark wood furnishings. Guest beds are dresses with monogrammed white linens. Guestrooms also feature large dressing mirrors and televisions. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available.
