Known as the "Queen of Nob Hill" and personifying the romantic appeal of the City by the Bay, The Fairmont San Francisco is positioned one-half mile from the Financial District and Union Square's famed shops and irrepressible nightlife. Caffe Centro serves lily coffee and Ghiradelli chocolates. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. On-site shops provide a range of retail delights, from a jade gallery to a cigar store that stocks pre-embargo Cuban cigars. The hotel's chief concierge, Tom Wolfe, is founder of the prestigious Les Clefs d'Or concierge association in the United States. Discounted access is available to the property's health club and fitness center that contains a sauna, steam rooms, cardiovascular equipment, and aerobics and yoga classes.
