Tipo de viaje: Special Event Reseña 1 de 26Beautifull surroundings, good hotel, friendly staff
Fairmont Princess has 4 beauttifull swiming pools, 2 of wich are new, and beautiful gardens with birds such as "guacamayas", flamingos, swans, etc. My room was located at the "Princess Tower", OK but felt kind of old, the bathroom was remodeled, but the room still needs to be updated some more. Great beds and pillows, so you get a good night sleep. Great towels and bath products. Old TV and hairdryer. Free coffee and tea daily. The room is fine and has a great view, but I recomend to stay at the new "Pearl Tower" wich is supposed to have beautiful rooms. The spa is simply beautiful, great massage, and had a 10% discount because I enrolled the "Fairmont Presidents Club", wich also allows you free access to the gym, free internet, free bottled water daily, some kind of "upgrade" on the beach towels, free newspaper daily, free coctails, etc. If you are goingo to stay at any Fairmont, you should join the Presidents Club first on their website. Food is OK but way too expensive. Realy expensive. They have a coffee shop with much decent prices, and great coffee. Went to the lunch buffett once and didn´t like it. Room service is actually very very good, ordered salmon and it arrived hot, and they arrange your table so you feel you are actually eating at a restaurant. You should try "Tabachin Restaurant" located at the Fairmont Pierre Marques, free transportation every 10 min. Also try mexican food at the Beach Club, very good. Everybody is very nice and friendly and will help you in anything you need.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 2 de 26Crowded beach
Beautiful hotel, good beach, much better than the one where all the hotel chains are at. Excellent restaurants and service, but pricey. Even though this hotel is not in the most popular beach, the beach is still very crowded and there are all sorts of vendors. The local people on the beach offer horseback riding, ATV's and jet skis, and there are a lot of them and I was worried someone was going to run over my kids both on the sand and in the water. The restaurant service is fantastic, they go over their way to make you happy and are extremely polite.

The Fairmont Princess is old and on top of that the service is mediocre. When I complained about the courtesy car park not being available I was simply told to use the expensive valet service and was given no other alternative but to leave the car in the street outside. When I asked for a room as high a floor as possible I was given one in the first floor (fifth for the hotel) with the excuse that it was pretty busy although the hotel was clearly empty. There were cockroaches in the room. I presume that the soaps, shampoos, conditioner and shower gel were anything but Henry Miller due to the bad odor they had. They were either old or home refilled. In general we had a very disappointing experience in a hotel not worthy of belonging to Fairmont chain.

Tipo de viaje: With Friends Reseña 6 de 26Service is Slipping
We've been going to the Princess for 2 years now (2-3 times/year). We've noticed the quality of service deteriorating. The grounds are still beautiful, but the rooms that haven't been upgraded are not a 4 start rating. Restaurants are not open, self park not available and valet parking is expensive/mandatory. We are Fairmont President Club members, but if you don't book with them at their site, you are not treated very well. We booked at Hotels.com this last time because of a much better price - but we paid the price with reduced room quality and service.

Tipo de viaje: Family Reseña 7 de 26Old Fairmont
The hotel is 30 years old and the rooms show it. There are 3 buildings and they are currently upgrading 1 of them. The main tower is beautiful in the lobby but the rooms need to be updated pronto. There are 3 set of pool but one was close. The other two were nice and good size. They claim to have 5 restaurants but during my visit, only two were open. One for lunch and the other one for dinner. The restaurant for dinner had a dress code so I had to go a restaurant in a mall near the hotel. I actually saw more than a few people walk to the mall for dinner. It was hot so the walk was not a pleasant one. If you need to go to the mall take a taxi. I went there in the last days of summer so it was not busy but the age of the rooms and the lack of open restaurants will probably keep me from going back.

Tipo de viaje: Not Provided Reseña 8 de 26Restaurants are overpriced
Hotel halls are outdated and could use repainting. It's ridiculous that you have to pay to use the hotel gym which is included in the price at most hotels. The hotel's restaurants are overpriced ($15 for Burger & Fries) and the food was not that good. I was disappointed not to see Mexican food offered at this resort.

Great pools and restaurants, no need to go into town. The beach can be very trashy by the end of the day, so be careful if you want to walk the beach at sunset - wear shoes.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 10 de 26Overall good hotel!
The landscape was beautiful! The staff was friendly. The room was huge... the view was ok... the food was acceptable... the TV and bathroom were old. Overall it's a pretty amazing hotel with an open lobby and amazing pools. What pissed me off was the fact that they charged for Internet (13.95$) and the gym (10$) each time you use it. The wireless internet, which I paid for daily was only available in the main lobby. Hence, every time I had to go online I had to walk quite a distance from my room to the lobby. And during the day it was way too windy in the lobby to comfortably sit there with your laptop, and at night it was to warm and humid!!! The wind during the day was actually very refreshing, but the fact that it almost blew your laptop off your lap was very annoying. I suppose if you don't have to use the Internet, it's overall a very nice hotel with a nice beach and friendly people.

Our stay at the Fairmont Princess was great, wonderful pools and service, our son hurt his chin , a doctor at the hotel was right downstairs and fixed him up in no time ,and this was on Easter Sunday. The Restaurants at the Hotel are wonderful , (even though they are a little pricey)We would recommend this hotel for your next Acapulco visit .

The hotel was beautiful, the people were so nice and accomodating, the restaurants are great...definately eat at the Hacienda! The only thing is if you want to be in the action of the busy city of Acapulco stay somewhere else. This is a place to escape and relax yet have fun. Great pools, beaches are beautiful. Kid friendly, yet we were on a couples vacation and never felt bothered. The spa is amazing great massages and the best pedicure I have ever had! We loved the people, everyone was so nice. We would definately go back!!!!!
