Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 103A lovely little hotel in a great location!
The staff could not be more helpful. They definitely treat their guests as top priority. We paid for a regular room and was promised an upgrade to a suite upon check-in and we received what was promised without even asking for it. We will certainly stay there the next time we visit Boston.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 103Great hotel!
Perfect hotel for a honeymoon or anniversary. Wish we could of stayed longer. Location is great. Walk to Boston Commons, Prudential Center, Newbury St. Was a rainy day and we forgot our umbrella. As we stepped outside we were handed one at the door! Didn't even need to ask. Little touches make all the difference. Also, upgraded us to a suite at check-in. Will stay again.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 103Pleasant Hotel
We had a very comfortable single-room but not a suite. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large but didn't have a bathtub - only a shower - a tub with a shower would have been nicer. Staff was very helpful and polite. Location is terrific. Many small shops and the Hynes Convention Center are within easy walking distance and the Hynes subway stop is only a block and a half away. We'll definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit Boston.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 103Outstanding hotel
I arrived at the hotel and they had upgraded me to a suite at no extra charge. They sent someone up to help me open a bottle of champagne too. Even though it was in the city, it was very quiet. I'd definitely stay there again.

This hotel had outstanding service. The only thing I didn't know when booking it, you will have to pay for parking.

I can't believe that this hotel charges what they do. I was not impressed with any offerings at this hotel. The service was horrible. I booked this room 3 months in advanced and paid in full at the time I reserved the room. I got stuck on the first floor (which felt like a basement) with a sweet view of a generator. The staff was of no help at all. Do not stay at this hotel. There are better hotels in Boston for this price.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 103You can do better than the Eliot
We had a very small suite with a tv in the living room that did not work. I set the A/C on 66 degrees, but it never did get very cool - even over night. There are no vending machines, so expect to pay high prices for the minibar items - $7.00 plus tax for a Ginger Ale and and Juice. The bed was very hard and not comfortable, and even with the $10.00 per person breakfast discount coupons, they still want $10.00 per person for the bagel/bakery/cold cereal breakfast - which we passed on. While it probably wasn't a bad room, we were very disappointed in what was suppossed to be a luxury hotel.
