Location. Built in 1906, the Churchill Hotel was originally constructed as an apartment dwelling in Washington, D.C. This property is located three blocks from Dupont Circle. The Phillip's Collection, considered the nation's first modern art museum, is located three blocks from the hotel. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is positioned one mile away.
Hotel Features. The lobby features marble floors, fresh bouquets, recessed lighting and an ornate gold-plated chandelier with 21 individual lamp shades. Renaissance paintings dress the walls. The Chartwell Grill, named after Sir Winston Churchill's estate, is well known for American-style seafood and steak preparations. The business center is avilable twenty-four hours a day.
