The Chelsea

Location. The Chelsea is located on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, N.J. The beach is adjacent. The Tropicana Casino is two blocks from the hotel. Historic Boardwalk Hall is one-half mile away.

Hotel Features. Built in 2008 and the first non-gaming boardwalk hotel since the 1960s, The Chelsea offers direct beach and boardwalk access. Beach services include complimentary towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Private beachside cabanas with mahogany floors and roll-up sides are available for a fee. Complimentary bicycle rentals are provided. Fitness options include exercise equipment and an outdoor, ground-floor saltwater pool. Paying homage to the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel's Sea Spa incorporates salt treatments into its saltwater-inspired spa services. Such treatments include the Dead Sea Salt Exfoliate or the Sea and Sand Pedicure. The Chelsea boasts two signature restaurants. The hotel's steakhouse, Chelsea Prime, offers a cocktail lounge, and indoor and outdoor seating. Teplitzky's serves diner-inspired cuisine, and provides the menu for poolside dining. A rooftop pool boasts Brazilian Ipe wood planters, lounge furniture, private cabanas and a fire pit. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel. The Chelsea is a smoke-free property.

Guestrooms. The 330 guestrooms are located in two towers: the Luxe and the Annex. Beds are outfitted in custom linens. All rooms include iPod docking stations. Luxe rooms offer flat-panel televisions.

Expert Tip. Guests are invited to wander from room to room on the fifth floor. The open space features the Terrace Lounge, the Living Room, the Bar and the Game Room, among other nooks and crannies.
