Great rooms for the money.....

The hotel was great! The only problem we had is that housekeeping was a bit slow on cleaning the room. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful Experience

This was one of the Nicest Resorts I have stayed at in the Orlando area. The staff was very professional and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the amenities were wonderful. I will be visiting this resort again soon.

Good hotel exept for elevators and self-parking...

Buena Vista Palace was a great deal for the money, but returning late in the day from the nearby theme parks was a little frustrating depentding on the conference center activity - Often, we had to park in the most remote lot from the main entrance. On Sunday morning of our stay, no doubt a busy check-out morning, we had to wait nearly 10 minutes for an elevator on which we and our luggage could fit. Only two of the four tower elevators were working at the time...

Great Hotel

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Right by downtown Disney which was very convinient!

Great Renovation

After reading many of the reviews about this hotel prior to booking it, I was a bit reluctant. However, I stayed at this hotel years ago and I could not quite remember all the details. From the photos, I could see that the hotel had been renovated since my last trip, so I decided to give it another try. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the renovations and the hotel felt new and swanky. The price we paid for the stay was far less than expected for this type of hotel. There is an additional hotel fee, but this covers use of the amenities, local and long distance calling and internet service. Well worth the minimal cost. I was glad that I chose this hotel dispite the negative reviews that I read. The location is great, right on Disney property and across the street from Downtown Disney. It's within walking distance, but we are the driving type. There is plenty of self parking, however, it's not at the front door. But when you've been walking the parks all day anyway, what's a few more steps, right?

Needs a Facelift

I was disappointed in this hotel. My room was very humid, it didn't matter how warm or cold I made it, my room always felt sticky. Room service is closed during the day during certain hours, my toilet was dirty, the room smelled musty or moldy, and everything needs a new coat of paint. One good thing though is my bed was very comfortable.

Terrible service

We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. At the time of booking we selected an "upgrade" to Disney view and a king size bed. Upon arrival the room that was given to us was a double bed room with a very nasty smell and a parking lot view. When we called the front desk we were told that was all they had until the next day and they sent room service to bring air freshener. The smell was to bad so we made another call, at which point we were transferred to another room with the same parking lot view. They claim is a Disney view because Epcot center is there. Very far anyhow. The view offered on thir website as an upgrade is Downtown Disney. They were not able to accomodate us in the room we paid for. I tried to order strawberries to our room before arrival, but after being transferred to three different departments and being disconnected, they were unable to accomodate our request as well. Overall the service is terrible as when you try to approach their front desk they seem careless and unwilling to cooperate or even offer an apology.

Good Location to Downtown Disney

The hotel has extra fees for everything so just be careful. Valet parking isn't on tip its a price per day. Market and restaurant in hotel were high which if you are there without a car is unfortunate. Housekeeping was good. If you requested no service in the morning they would check to see if you needed anything later in the day or wanted evening service. Balconies are really small. Has 2 pools open 24 hours but never made it there. Went to look at them and there were towels available at that time.
