Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 154Fantastic Hotel
We stayed here in November. We had a fabulous time. The resort is located just 2 miles from the entrance to Yosemite. There are 4 different restaurants on the premises. We had a cottage room which had a patio. We will definitely stay again and again.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 154Excellent Hotel, Long drive into Park
Our stay was very enjoyable. The Hotel is very nice and clean. However, the location leaves something to be desired. While it is only 5 minutes to the Park Entrance, it is an hours drive to Yosemite Valley where most of the hiking and Park activity is located.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 154Not so great system...
Everything was ok except the one thing happened to me. After we checked in, our room key was not working so we took it again to front desk to solve the problem which worked. But in the middle of the night, engineer broke in to our room and he was telling me that we shouldn't be in that room and there were another group claiming that the room belong to them. I called front desk to make the complaint because it was ovious that their system cannot check who is in the room at the time. Well, I ended up staying at the room but it was a scary experience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 154Great Place but needed more time
We drove in at night to Yosemite. We were on our honeymoon and visited all over California. Started at Southern CA and went north. We didn't get to our room at Tenaya Lodge until 2am and had issues with our camera deleting all of our wedding and honeymoon pictures- Therefore didn't get in bed until 6am (but did get them back thank goodness) and had check out at 11. The front desk politely moved our check out until noon when I went down to tell her our problem. I wish we would have had more time here but only spent one day at Yosemite. The hotel is located about one mile out of the park entrance. So, very close without having to pay high rates to stay in the park. Our room was nice and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was great the next day for lunch. We got to sit outside and the weather was simply amazing (although the birds aren't scared to get on the table while you are eating which is kind of annoying- once my husband was done eating they actually got on his plate and started eating his food)! The outside was beautiful when we pulled up in the evening (the "lanterns" lighting the walkway). The elevators in this hotel seemed to be a hundred years old. They were very noisy and jerked really bad when "landing" on your floor level. We felt bad because the rooms do not have balcony's and I smoke- So having to use these noisy elevators in the evening made me feel like I was being loud although we weren't.... We were on the 3rd floor and the floor somewhat squeeked when you walked around in the hallway- Which made me realize the hotel must be older than I thought (and added to the whole noise issue- which wouldn't have been a big deal but they actually had signs posted to be quiet at night time).... Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The staff was very nice. I just wished that if they wanted it so quiet in the evening that the floors didn't make noises when walking around and the elevators weren't so loud! We would stay here again because the only issues we had we

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 154Loved the cottage in the wood
We loved the cottage in the wood - (standard room) better than a room in the big hotel building. Too bad we did not have time to enjoy the spa and swimming pool. The only problem was that it was a little too far from a town with restaurants, but we drove to Oakhurst. We would stay there again if we visit Yosemite again.
