Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 14Needs Much Improvement
The hotel is run down and right next to a major construction project. The office was rarely open. The hotel has no air conditioning and my room's windows were at street level to the parking lot - so I could not leave them open to cool the room. I would stay elsewhere.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 14Nothing fancy, but great staff and perfect location
I needed to stay in Telluride during a prime weekend in ski season while coaching hockey. Room was nothing special, but the location was outstanding, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. There was a top-notch Thai restaurant withing crawling distance, I would recommend it highly.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 14horrible service for high price
this hotel is located very close to the telluride slope, however the service and quality are poor at best. The hotel desk is located in the alley and we had to retrieve our key from a lock box in the front area. after searching for close to an hour and repeatedly calling the hotel we finally got and answer from the "emergency number". The reception was very unfreindly and it wasn't until this time that we were informed that our key was in the (not locked) lock box. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone other than drunk college kids.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 14Great Hotel for the Money
Loved that it was so close to the mountain, our room had a full kitchen that really helped us save alot of money allowing us to cook.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 14Worst Hotel Experience
We arrived at the hotel in the evening and the desk was closed. Got our keys from a lock box and ended up in a room with one bed when we had requested and paid for two beds. We were unable to reach anyone at the hotel that night to correct the problem. I went to the desk the next morning and they were very rude but gave us the right room. We moved into the room and it had not been cleaned from previous guests. We informed the hotel, they said they would have it cleaned, so we went out for the day. We returned and the room was as we left it, filthy. We tried to call the manager on duty and the line was busy and we could not get through. We left and found another hotel that night and Mountianside Inn still refuses to give any refund or work with us in any way. Avoid this place and you are more likely to have a pleasant stay in Telluride!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 14Big Hot Tub
The best thing I can say is that it had the biggest hot tub I have ever seen. The rooms were not as we requested. There were rooms available to match, but they would not accommodate us. I found one of the rooms by mistake. It was across from our room and on my first pass I tried the door, thinking that it was my room. It was not, but my key opened it! It also opened my room. The guests had checked out, but the room was not clean. (5 PM). There were screens for the windows that did not fit. The toilet leaked all night long. I ran into a maintenance man who addressed these. As we left, the toilet exploded with the last flush (5:30 am) and covered the floor with water. The beds were hard as rock. Parking is inadequate. If you do not get one of the inner court spots, there is a 1/2 mile drive to the public lot. Then you have a very short shlep to the motel. But the hot tub was great.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 14Description of Amenities is Deceiving
The list of amenities I saw on Hotels.com was not what was actually in the hotel room. I'm sure I was looking under the "Room Only" description and it says....Refrigerator, microwave, and free wireless...none of which were in my room or available to me. This would be an "ok" place to stay for a few people that are on a budget sharing the room and won't actually spend much time in the room.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 14Great Price
Great price for the room with kitchenette, large bathroom, convient parking in front and back. 2 blocks from the gondola, and short walk to downtown. Would definately stay there again, or recommend it to friends.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 14Affordable and convenient.
I stay at this hotel every year for my annual ski weekend to Telluride. The hotel is not fancy but affordable and clean. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Hotel is within walking distance to downtown and gondola. Best of all....it is literally accross the parking lot from the ski lift....awesome.
