Incredible service, outstanding employees

Fabulous stay!

We highly recommend the Taj President to travelers to Mumbai. The staff were incredibly gracious and helpful. We stayed at the Taj a total of 4 nights throughout our 3 week tour of India on three different occasions as we used Mumbai as our base. All 3 rooms were SPECTACULAR even though each was unique. During one stay the staff upgraded us to a room with a stunning view. The breakfast restaurant is terrific with many choices for breakfast. The staff at Wink were as terrific as the cocktails. We also truly enjoyed a lovely dinner at Konkan Cafe. Don't overlook the President for it's more well known sister, the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower - the President is also a treat.

Great Hotel

The hotel was great! The hotel was hard to find but in a great location for sight seeing. The only complaint was the AC in our room was not working properly. Otherwise i would stay here again.

Outstanding service

Great place. Exceptional service. Good security measure: You have to go through metal detector at the entrance + police everywhere around the hotel. The neighborhood is average but this is Bombay (a lot of people are very poor).

Excellent

While this hotel isn't cheap, service is excellent, and it was completely professionally run. We were upgraded to a superior room, just renovated and it was beautiful. No complaints at all.

Total Oasis

... And you need an oasis at the end of a day of buzzing around chaotic Mumbai. The staff could not have been more friendly, attentive, or helpful, from cleaning our rooms to giving us directions and making dinner reservations. The room was a bit small, but very new, fresh, and clean. The bed was cozy and the rainfall showerhead a dream. The pool area is small, but well kept and quite nice. Both restaurants in the hotel serve delicious food (Indian and international) and the bar has a large selection of yummy drinks. For us, the Taj President was safe, practical, relaxing, and romantic. We would definitely choose it again.
