Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 330Great room for the money!
Service was wonderful! We utilized valet, front desk, bell hop, housekeeping, room service, and conceiege staff and everyone was pleasant and prompt. Definitely will recommend hotel to others.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 330Excellent All Around
While definitely not the Four Seasons, this hotel was clean, well kept, well located, and a pleasure to be in. While no great shakes in terms of dining, there are so man places so close by that that makes no difference. Great, pleasant, helpful personnel in all areas - doormen, concierge, front desk, room service, etc. Very happy with this hotel, and will stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 330Lovely Boutique Hotel
Hotel was quiet and in a residential neighborhood. Very close to Miracle Mile and Hancock Tower. About 5-6 short blocks from nearest subway stop on the Red Line. Be aware. Nobody asked us about a non-smoking room. Didn't realize that until after we checked in. The hotel was fully booked and we could not switch rooms.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 330Nice hotel in great location
The hotel and staff were great. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds. The only drawback would be the lack of free wifi. All along our trip wherever we stayed, free wifi was just part of hotel amenities. I don't know why this couldn't be part of this hotel's offering. Other than that, there were no complaints.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 330Great hotel
We stayed at The Sutton Place Hotel mainly because of price. But it is a great place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from the front desk staff to the concierge to the doormen. The room was spacious. We got a lakeview room. Granted being on the 8th floor the view was only parts of the lake but it was fine. It was clean and comfy. Location is good, one block from Michigan Avenue right at Rush street. Many restaurants and bars in the area. And everything is really within walking distance, albeit a mile walk, but still a nice one. I give the hotel and the city an A+.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 330Too Hot
Old building did not allow for cooling the room. Everything controlled building-wide. The temperature was too hot to sleep comfortably, and we were told that nothing could be done.

Very satisfied with room and surrounding location though bit of a walk to the Chicago River, Millennium Park and Museum of Art. Parking is expensive.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 330Awesome hotel/Great location!
We loved Sutton Place and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was beautiful, staff attentive and room comfy. The location was great and had a neighborhood vibe to it with a quaint little park across the street and plenty of eating spots nearby...some of the best in Chicago! We walked up and down Michigan Ave. and Rush Ave. where there's tons of shopping! I am looking forward to going back again as soon as we can!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 330Good Hotel; Good Location
Had a beautiful junior suite. A tad pricey, but very comfortable and clean. Lots of towels. Great location in Rush Street Nightlife area, with a multitude of good restaurants. Room could use some stronger light bulbs for those who like to read in bed; and hotel could find a different disinfectant or soap for the towels if one is not to be so aware of the aroma.

My husband and I had the best time while staying at the Sutton Place Hotel. It was walking distance from everything like the trains, shopping, eating and Lake Michigan. I can't wait to go back.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 330Exceeded Our Expectations
We really expected top of the line and we got that and more. All staff was really friendly and went out of their way to help. Room service was fast and affordable and delicious. The room was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and comfortable, and we loved the view. Can't say enough good things about Sutton Place.
