Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 49Better than I expected!
I needed to travel on a low budget for a last minute engagement. I wasn't aware there was a Super 8 in Universal City. My past experiences, in general, were not so great. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room. I stayed 2 nights and would be happy to stay again. The night front desk attendant was very cordial and helpful. Thank you!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 49Needs serious improvement.
The beds were in bad shape. One slanted uphill from the head to the feet. There were only 4 totally flat pillows in our room and the front desk couldn't get us any more. They also had teeny tiny towels...I guess little people usually stay there.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 49Disappointing
Only stayed one night. Was just looking for a comfortable bed - nothing fancy. My mom's room had not been cleaned. Bedding was all over the floor. When we went to bed, we discovered there was no fitted sheet on the bed, so we struggled trying to keep the mattress covered up. TV reception was really bad. Dirty towel in our bathroom.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 49Worst Hotel
We were given a room # and the room was very dirty. Looks like some kind of maintenance is going on. We called the reception and got another room. This second room has no air condition. We did not found that out until we were completed unpack and everyone were settle down. We have 5 kids, so we decided to take the room anyway because we were tire and only had to stay for one night. That one night room temperature was hot and no ones can sleep.

Directions given by the hotel were inaccurate. The night stand was filthy (covered in something sticky). Night staff was rude and not willing to find an extra pillow. Phone in room not even plugged into the wall. (There wasn't even a cord to plug in) No fitted sheet on matress.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 49Great for the price
This is an older motel, but it is well maintained. The breakfast is better than most (waffles and pigs-in-a-blanket). Remote for TV batteries were dead nbd. WIFI was weak. I will come back.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 49The Better Business Bureau needs to look into this Motel
The directions given from the sales rep with Hotel.com were incorrect. I requested to stay between downtown San Antonio and Sea World on I-35 and found the motel far north of San Antonio. After checking in, I called the front desk for some more pillows, because the one's on the bed had absolutely no support. Randy, the night shift desk clerk, said there was nothing he could do about it. There was no House keeping onsite until the morning. Next,I left to walk the poorly lighted property for a soda machine. To my misfortune, all three soda machines did not work, and one even took my money. I had to leave at 12:30am to grab sodas so we could drink something with the food we ordered from a not so close restuarant. The next morning, my family went to take showers only to find there was just two. So, again, I called the front desk requesting for house keeping to bring by a couple more bath towels. At 9:00am, Kathy, the front desk rep. said "There was no house keeping on site, but that I could walk down to the laundry room and get what I needed." As I left my room, I saw not just one cart but two in front of other rooms. When I made my way into the laundry room, I met two ladies. I asked one of them "are you housekeeping?" One responded yes. Furious, I called the front desk and spoke with Kathy to inform her that I ran into housekeeping and that I needed to speak with her manager. Her response was,"there is no manager." I asked "so what happens in cases where you are not equipped to answer or solve a problem?" "She said I am sorry but I am the only one here." My response was, "you hsve not been forthcoming with me already who's to say you are speaking truthfully right now over such a small matter?" I did not give her a chance to respond. I only asked for the night clerk's name. She would not give me his last name or her last name. Nor would she give me the name of a manager or any employee ID to reference with this matter. I thought a shower would make me feel better, but i
