Super 8 Terre Haute IN

Better than when we stayed in the past

We found everyone to be very helpful and polite. There has been a lot of upgrading since the last time we stayed at this Super 8. It's just 'spiffier'. It has always been a great place to stay for the money charged. It's convenient to several eating places and the state highway. The rooms were very clean and secure. We haven't always been able to secure a room at the Super 8 during the Covered Bridge Festival [many patrons book a year in advance] so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to stay here after a couple of years in other motels in the same area.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The hallways didn't smell the best, but the odor did not carry into the room. All in all, we had a good stay at this location.

Great room for the money

The only problem was no availabity of an outlet for my c-pat machine.

good hotel

I stayed during the Scheid weekend and they were great to work with. my room was clean and ready when I arrived on Friday. With Hotel being within walking distance to a Bob Evan's it work great for breakfast.

Not worth the price

Entire hotel smelled like smoke, even though we were in a no smoking room.

dirty and dirty

In all fairness, my room was fine, but the hallways & elevator just reeked of cigarettes, alcohol, and trash. The floors were filthy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a comfortable, peaceful, clean hotel to stay at.

Great for the money

Very nice clean and roomie, never had any problems with the room or staff, the only thing is that it is tucked away in a corner behind another hotel and its a bit hard to get to if you don't have a GPS. I would stay there again over some pricey hotel when all I'm doing is sleeping after driving all day...

Stinks to high heaven

I have no idea why this hotel bothers to list rooms as "non-smoking". The whole building reeks of cigarette smoke. I could smell it in the parking lot. When I checked in I was given a key card that did not work. Naturally I had to discover this with all my stuff in tow in the rain. Nope. Can't recommend it.

Great room for the money

It was really nice. customer service was great.

Adequate for the price.

You will get what you paid for a no frills room nothing else. The only negative thing is that I found left over food on the room's table. The rest of the room was clean. I didn't bother informing the front desk they were busy and I was tired.
