nice hotel

very clean and the smell of cleanliness and freshness when you walk in your room.. Very comfortable beds.

Great room for the money

The only negative was there were not available rooms on the first floor for a non smoker. The room quality was really great. The mexican restaurant next door has wonderful food.

Low price

Super 8 in Temple is conveniently located on I35. The staff is pleasant, but I should have booked a pricier hotel to get a more cheerful updated room and a better mattress. The room is okay if you are not too particular and need a place to stay on a budget. The blanket actually had moth holes in it. Most of the light bulbs were burned out and the room was dark anyway with ancient furniture and bedding. The room did have a refrigerator and lots of TV channels. One problem with my room was it was nearly the farthest from the office and kind of out of the way since there were so few guests. Each room has an outside door. For safety I should have asked for a rrom closer to the office. I pushed furniture against the out door and the adjoining room door. There were no suspicious persons lurking about but the isolation and outside doors kind of spooked me.

OK for a cheap sleep

This hotel really does try to be better - the staff was friendly and courteous and the room was clean. Little things kind of got to us - vending was not close...there was no stopper for the tub (used a washcloth)...outlets weren't easily accessible...had to unplug the fridge to power my laptop. But none of things were major and for the amount of time we actually spent in the room it was fine for the price we paid. It was close to where we needed to be, it was pretty quiet, and the A/C worked well. But next time we go to Temple, we'll probably spend a little more and get a nicer room.

Ok Stay

This is an older motel but it is clean. Convient location. The lady that checked me in was friendly. The man that checked me out the next morning seemed a bit confused about the Hotels.com payment. Overall it was an ok stay for the price. It was comfortable for just a one night stay.

Poor Quality

When I arrived at the hotel, the person at the desk was rude... I liked the location of the room, but the window was falling out of the frame. The AC/ Heat unit did not work properly, and made a horrible noise. I informed the front desk, and did not get any response. The box spring on the bed was falling apart as well.

Super 8 in Temple

The hotel was fine for my needs. I only spent one night but the room was clean, bed was comfortable. There was a good Mexican restaurant next door. It was a good value for the money.
