Super 8 Franklin Pk O'Hare So

Great room for the money.

We only used this room to sleep overnight in order to catch an early flight out the next morning. For the money and length of stay the room was just fine. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful and the shuttle to and from the airport was prompt!

This was the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I was afraid to touch anything, let alone sleep in the bed. never again!

Needs Improvement but Okay for budget traveling

After reading the reviews I decided that based on my needs this Hotel would be just fine. It was just as the other reviews indicated. For something inexpensive and close to the airport it fits the bill. You get what you pay for, even then I felt maybe it was worth less than that for my one night stay. It is clean, but in disrepair. You certaintly do not feel safe, and leaving your car parked below only leaves an unsettling feeling. After a little stroll out the back to see someone getting arrested I decided I would probably not come back, at least not ever bring my family. The shuttle service to and from the airport was okay. The service generally was okay, but the front desk forgot to make wake up calls. I planned ahead not to count on the wake up call and it was a good thing I did. Overall for budget traveling it worked just fine.

NEEDS A GREAT DEAL OF IMPROVEMENT

SO we went to this location because we figured it was close to where we wanted to be and the price was reasonable. If you just need a bed to sleep it might suffice, except for the room was just completely outdated, chipped paint, the dresser had dried nail polish, the carpet was visibly stained, no conveniences: no fridge no microwave. In what we later found out is a bit of a red light district. All night long my husband was afraid someone was going to bust through the doors. Definately one of our worse experiences.

The hotel was OK. The only issue we had was that the bathtub in one of the room was kept getting choked up. We called the hotel manager who sent somebody to fix it. Also no shower pressure on the second floor rooms. This was also fixed by the management. Other than that the stay was pleasant.

Good place to stay

Picked us up from the ohare airport with the free shuttle, microwave in the lobby, good continental breakfast..free wireless internet in the room..If you wanna take rest in the night and roam in the city during day, and dont wanna spend too much , this is the place..

Needs improvement

It started with an two hour wait on a shuttle. The room was extremely cold and had no warm on its controls. It was wet near the register. First morning the com breakfast was not ready. The TV was not visible for the first day and half. My son then checked the back and found out the cable was not fully hooked up. The hotel did offer an early check in. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Soiled carpets dirty walls stained matress springs parking garage felt like a sewer had reserved non-smoking room but was given smoking room staff said smoking room was reserved by my hotels.com records showed non-smoking staff was unapologetic location very difficulty to find from I-294 rather unpleasant busy old neighborhood bathroom was clean with decent water pressure way below expectations for Super 8

Good value, near food, (Denny's, Subway), perfect for college kids looking to have a cheap place to stay that's clean, dry, warm...keep it simple...

Clean place to stay, Good price, Good shuttle service to O'Hare Airport. Just not fancy.

Do Not Stay Here

From the moment I stepped into this Hotel it was bad news. Unfriendly staff, bad odor, not clean at all. I wouldn't allow my dog to stay in this hotel. NEVER again will I stay there.
