Worst Hotel Ever

I can't believe I paid for a hotel this bad!!!! I have never in my life seen a hotel room with actual holes in the walls!!! Do not ever stay in this hotel!!!!! This is the first time I have ever given a negative review for a hotel I've booked through Hotels.com. There were several safety violations at this hotel: broken glass cover of firehoses, no smoke detector (just a hole in the wall with wires sticking out), broken railings on the second floor walkways taped together with electrical tape!!!!! The room had actual holes in the walls. The bathroom had mold growing on the walls and ceiling. There was no phone in the room. The carpet was black with mold and mildew. There were quarter size holes in the carpet. Do not stay at this hotel ever!

Very Unclean

I have stayed at many inexpensive motels and have always been satisfied. This is the first time I have ever been truly disgusted with a room. It was filthy!! I dropped something on the floor and when I bent down to pick it up, I noticed that the bed had wrappers and garbage underneath it. The sink was filthy and there was a tootpaste cap stuck in the drain which indicates it had not been washed since the previous visitor. I kept my sandals on to shower because the tub was gross and there was no hot water! There are many other inexpensive motels in the area, I would strongly urge you to book a room somewhere else.

Go across the street!!!

Location is OK, room is OK, typical super 8 motel, OK for the money...my problem was with the staff, inpatient, lazy and rude...continental breakfast was OK, but the toaster was broken...Strongly recommend the Days Inn on I-dr. just across the street, much better facilities, services and nicer staff...Sometimes even cheaper.......

Fine for the price - not luxury

To be honest, if you JUST need a place to stay while at the theme parks and don't care about luxury, this is just fine. But if you like larger towels, fancy shampoo or get weird about a room that has a "used' look to it, you won't be happy here. It's clean, safe and "ok", but for a few bucks more a night, you can get better. In other words, safe, clean but you get what you pay for..

Great for an overnight visit...

I have stayed at this hotel numerous and really haven't had any problems. It's always been an over night stay after spending the day/night at Universal. Location is convienent and price is right for an overnight stay that is close to Universal/Idrive. It's no five star hotel, but it's always been clean and comfortable.

Problems galore

It should of been an omen, when some shady looking person was on a phone leaning on the post under our rooms on the second floor. Don't know if he was the one yelling at a women calling her names between 1-5 am, but the security guard certainly didn't seem to be doing his job. Room was nothing to write home about. Employee at checkout didn't apologize and told us the manager was out of the country and his brother would be coming in at 3 pm. She refused to call him at our request. Then upon leaving it appeared that some drug deals were going on as we were leaving. Called Hotels.com to report our disatisfaction and they more than made up for Super 8's poor service.

Stay away

Our room was musty, and smelled of urine, the A/C did not help dissipate the odor. There was a group of loud, drunken people arguing in front of our room from 1- 5 in the morning, so much for the security guard. The front desk employee at check out stated the manager was out of town and she wouldn't call the assistant manager who was not coming in until 3 pm.

Good room for the money

For a last minute trip this was a decent place to stay. The price is right and it is a hop, skip and jump away from Universal. Very easy to find. The security guard let us stay out at the pool as long as we wanted and even held conversation. The room wasn't a 5 star but it was clean.

Needs Improvement

Carpet was soaked from airconditioning. Fleas or No-Siems flying around Lobby check in. Took over 20 minutes for hot water in shower.

for the price room was oke

the price we payed per night was to in quality of the room ok. It was clean, bed ok. They served breakfast, but some creamchease or fruit would of been very nice. Only jam for on the bagels en bread.

Needs Alot of improvement

Very dirty rooms their were roaches and beds were not made and carpets dirty so if you are going to go there do not consider this hotel for your stay if you want a refund you will never get it back comstumer satisfaction it is not in there reservations

Even though my stay was short, I really enjoyed the hotel "Super 8". The location was perfect to all the surrounding attractions and was right off the exit. Very easy to find. Thanks, A Satisfied Customer

Needs improvement

Requested additional linens - never delivered. Found bugs in the room/bed.
