Nice room for the price

This hotel was nice for the price. The room was very spacious and clean. The only problem was that the hair dryer did not work. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice and clean. I would go to this hotel again if we are in the area again. It was very reasonable in price. The breakfast was also very nice with cereal, toast, bagels. It had coffee, juice and hot tea.

Great Room for the Money

The price was right - but our non smoking room smelled suspiciously like someone had smoked in it. Maybe it was the cleaning team. When I got home, I had to wash the clothes that I hadn't worn because they smelled so terrible. However, I would stay here again because of the price and location.

We did not pay alot for the room and it satisfied our needs with visiting friends and family in the area.

Great room for the money.

I found the accommodations to be excellent. The only problem I had was the mattress. I require a firm or very firm mattress because of arthritis in the lower back. However, when I booked the room I neglected to tell that to the booking agent. Consequently, I can't--nor do I--hold Motel 8 or any of its peronnel accountable. I enjoyed my stay at the facility. Care was taken to locate me close to the motel entrance and near the convenience machines, which I appreciate.

Bad PLace

The people put us in a smoking room that smelled like a bar the internet did not work and the breakfast was a joke. They really dont care about their people. The blankets had cigarette burn holes in them

Fairly nice room for the money.

The room was easily accessible. The bath was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. However, the bottom sheet on the bed did not fit well and the mattress pad and the sheet bunched up as they were slept on. The air conditioner was quiet. The one thing I did not like was the carpet on the floor. It had lots of large dirty-looking spots on it and appeared to not have been cleaned in quite some time. Did not want to walk on it in my barefeet.

Just what expected for the money.

The hotel was nice, clean and just what expected for the money. Only complaint was that our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Convenient to Gettysburg, about 20 minutes or so away. Make sure to use hotels.com, because the hotel will not match the price.

Room door did not shut and lock unless it was lifted up with considerable force.

The Hotel was clean, well kept, and the price was right. My non-smoking room did not smell of smoke like other Hotels I've stayed in on a trip like this. There are plenty of good places to eat and shop nearby if you have the desire. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Great for a weekend overnight

This hotel may not provide the over the top ammenities, but everything that was there was fully functional and very enjoyable. The room was very...roomy, and the staff was terrific.
