Super 8 Motel - Bridgeview/chicago Area

Sorta Misleading

I definitely agree with one of the reviews I read that it is not as close to Midway Airport as I had expected. It was just OK for me. My funds were low and this was economical. Though on my next visit I believe I'll pay a little more and get a better deal.

This is a good value for the money, and very close to Midway Airport. Staff is friendly, and efficient. Highly recommended.

Great service, but needs improvement

The service was great. The people that worked there were very friendly. We were coming in from Midway and needed a cheap place to stay. It was further from Midway than we thought and in a little bit of a dicey area. The room was pretty dirty. The carpet was old. We saw a cockroach. It was a bit on the scary side because the peep-hole was apparently two-way so they had a piece of wadded up kleenex in the peep hole. Wouldn't recommend it unless your on a very tight budget.

Nice little stop for the night

The hotel was what we had expected for the price range. The 24 hour front desk was nice, because my friends and I arrived later in the evening for check in. The street it was on was very busy during the day, but didn't really notice it during the night. Convienently located near main interstate that goes downtown. All in all, not too bad!

One Bed for 3 people

When I made the reservation I put 2 adults and 1 child and they gave us one bed. My boyfriend had to sleep on the floor the entire time we were there. They said they would full and could not switch us to another room. With the what I asked for they could have been with getting us a bigger bed. Overall this was an okay hotel.

Wife didn't like it

She said sheets smelled like smoke

great room for the money

This hotel was the least expensive option and close enough to the building I came to the area to go to. 79th street was a great main drag for restaurants, and other stores for things I needed while I was there. The cleaning staff and front desk were friendly, polite and helpful. I would stay there again.

Good value for the money

Husband, Mother-in-law and myself were looking for an economic and decent place to stay before an early a.m. flight out of Midway the next day. We arrived at the Motel just before midnight and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (2 doubles) seemed clean and the bathroom was also. Husband & Mother-in-law had coffee in the lobby next a.m. and was given directions to the airport by the same people that were on duty the night before. We would stay there again.

Needs much improvement!

Hotel was old. They have made improvements,new paint,tiles,etc., but the room still looked old and worn. The bed was so uncomfortable we hardly slept. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ok for the money

Price was important and it met that requirement. The neighborhood felt safe enough to walk to a restaurant nearby. The motel appears to have been there a long time, so it just looked kind of "tired". The staff was pleasant.

great room for the money and if you want to visit the chicago area

Hotel room was excellent for the price i paid. had no problems at all. Front desk staff was very friendly. wasnt to far from downtown chicago n has lots of restuarants around it. would definitely stay n again.
