Great room for the money

Everything was fine with the room. The only problem that we had was ....on return to the motel in the afternoon of the next day, our card-key would not open the back entrance door and we had to go the front desk and get new cards. They worked fine. Other than that, all was fine. The coffee, bagels and muffins were just enough in the morning to get you going.

Strong smoke odor

Extremely heavy smoke odor. The service man at front desk had been smoking in the lobby. All smoke free rooms upstairs and smoke from below had traveled up.

Needs Improvement

We have used this Hotel for many years due to it's location. There are not any other Hotels in that area of Havre de Grace, Md. It is older, but fairly clean. The price is moderate, but not cheap. We don't spend much time there - just to sleep and change clothes.

Good for night's stay

We just needed a stop over while traveling... This hotel was perfect for it.

good room for money

Had security issue. previous occupant returned trying to use key at 9pm. left valuables in safe. Front desk called us and asked us to let them in. 3 men at door. I refused and asked for an employee to come and open safe without the men present since it was just me and my husband. Parking wasn't the best. Many spaces taken with boats due to tounament in town. The room was fine for our needs.

Clean, convenient motel

Check in was very easy, room was clean, and a basic breakfast was offered in the morning.

High Price for Horrible Night Sleep

Bed felt like a rock and the pillows were worse.

Needs Some Improvement

Can't say enough about the hotel personnel. They were friendly and very helpful. Bathroom fixtures should be upgraded. But all in all, I had a good stay at this Super 8 hotel.

do not stay here

it was smelly, scary (knife holes in the blanket AND in the bathroom door) stained, and the free breakfast was worse than prison food. the employees were friendly, but I would never never recommend this place to ANYONE!!!

Needs improvement

Bathroom floor was not clean. Beds were uncomfortable.

Decent value

Sure, it's a cheap motel, but it was clean, all of the appliances in the room worked (fridge, iron and microwave), it included free wi-fi and a generous cable tv package. It's a perfectly good option if you need to stay in the area. We were a little nervous about the bullet-proof glass in the lobby but didn't see any evidence it had been used during our stay.
