I do not Recomend this Hotel

I understand this is an older property but it has fallen on hard times. The parking is below the hotel, the stairs from the parking are old and very dark. You must exit the garage at the back of the hotel and re-enter the hotel. There are no locks on dors from the back of the property, anyone can enter the dark hallways. The property is filthy.

Ok for the price

Getting up to the hotel from the basement parking is scary at night. The interior of the hotel entrance needs remodeling. No one montitoring the breakfast so patrons had to go ask for refills. Room was large, but the recliner in my room was visibly broken. The headboard was stained from heads leaning against it.

Bombed and Freezing in Chicago

This hotel looked like the lobby had been bombed. The staff could have heat on in the room, and when I asked for more blankets the clerk said "NO".

get what u pay for

low price.. met by basic needs...could have definitely been cleaner!!!

Do Not Stay Here

Used condoms in the parking area. Human feces on the lawn. There was a stop work notice on the door to the breakfast area. State of hotel horrible.

Needs Improvement

They especially need to get a larger water heater or repair theirs. We were up at 5 am to make it to the airport and were greeted with cold showers. Not the best way to start an already stressful day.

Absolutely Filthy

I felt so sorry for the kind people working the front desk. Despite their smiles and good attitudes, this place was definitely the worst I have ever stayed in, and I travel a lot! I thought twice about staying in a 2-star, but I have stayed in a couple of others on quick overnights between flights, and they weren't bad. This was the nastiest hotel I have ever even been in. My husband and I were only going to be there for about 6 hours between flights in and out of Chicago, but even in just that short amount of time, we were too afraid of what we might pick up from the mattresses and bed linens to even change our clothes. We slept in our clothes and did not even feel safe putting our bare feet on the bathroom floors. Needless to say, we will not be staying there again.

Needs Improvement

Hotel is out-dated, carpet needs cleaning, walls need repair and painted, The beds are like a sagging back horse and needs new mattress set

The worst hotel ever!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed in, and not being from Chicago, had no idea how poor it is. The hotel was poorly maintained. There was actually a very gross stink. The hoteliers were rude and impolite. The room had everything from about 30 years ago, they have never changed anything. the bed covers were worn out, the restrooms were under equipped and poorly maintained. It was a horrible place to stay. It is amazing that hotels.com even has this place on their list of recommended places!! Hotels.com should actually do a better job of selecting hotels to recommend to people or else risk losing customers to other websites.
