Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 35Trendy hotel
This hotel is in a great location to shopping, trolly service, and kennsington market. It's about 1/2 mile to nearest subway service. The room was large, clean, and quiet. Cool hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 35Chinatown Gem
I was first skeptical about this hotel due to the entrance and overall craziness of Chinatown in Toronto. But, it turns out the location was perfect, the staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean. 5 stars.

Hotel was very conveniently located to the stadium as well as other great areas in Toronto. Was nervous at first with location but found the area very safe and comfortable walking around.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 35Great Customer Service
This isn't a five star hotel but the customer service made up for that. We attempted to check in early and was told our room was not yet ready. Instead of blowing us off and telling us to come back at 3:00, they went out of their way to get the room ready as quickly as possible. While we waited they gave us pointers on how best to get around town and even arranged for a trolley service to pick us up in front of the hotel to join the regular trolley tour route. That night they gave us extremely helpful advice on how to get to the Molson Amphitheater (streetcar 510 to the 509 and you'll need exactly $2.75 in change) and even made change for us. Don't know if I'll ever make it back to Toronto but if I do I will definately stay here.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 35Great overall experience
Upon arrival at Chinatown for a week vacation, I didn't like the neighborhood. But the hotel was beautiful, very clean, front desk clerks were very attentive and the manager is very approachable, can be seen on the lobby talking to the guests. The breakfast is kind of weak though. Chinatown proved to be a safe place with lots of stores (shopaholics' paradise), restaurants, fast foods and convenience stores. Lots of attractions within just a few blocks. Easy going public transportation options nearby too.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 35Great deal for a great location, could be cleaner
The room: The beds were nice, but nothing to brag about. The blankets, pillows and coverings were standard non-sleeper hotel fare. While the room was very clean, there were unrecoverable stains here and there: On the blankets, the walls, the floor, the lampshades, the shower curtains. Some were paint, some were food, some were of an unknown nature. Despite being on one of the busiest streets in Tronna, and being built on top of a mall, the hotel was incredibly quiet. The wireless internet was very spotty, but I luckily had a wireless router with me and the wired connection that I put into the router was blazingly fast. The hotel staff was exceedingly nice and welcoming. Overall, the value and location far outweighed the minor complaints about our stay.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 35Customer Sevice
The customer service of the employees was terrible. We arrived early around (9 am) and asked for the first room that opened because we drove 6 hours after a long night of work. The front desk attendants told us to wait in the lobby. So we fell asleep on the coaches and kept asking for a room around 11. An hour after people checked out and we were told they were still not ready. So we fell back to sleep and then at 1 pm were told them we really needed a room to get ready to go to a meeting and they finally gave us one. And we called the front desk for information and they said they could not help us and hung up. (twice) Then during check out we asked about getting our parking validated and the front desk clerk got in an argument with the my friend and started yelling at us. So finally we told her we just wanted to check out and we would go. We just had a question and didn't want to argue. But the hotel was clean and very well located but the customer service was horrible.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 35Very Clean, Amazing Location, Great Price
I was very shocked at how clean the hotel was. Everything seemed well taken care of and maintained. The price was great. The location was outstanding.. just a few blocks either direction for great shopping/food/bars. The elevators were a bit debatable though, our room was right across from one and it sounded like we had an elephant outside of our room. The hotel is also connected to a mall of some sort. All and all a great experiance.
