Not Good!!!

The room was definitely a "Spring Break" hotel. To have been recently renovated in 2007, the carpet did not represent that at all!!There were holes in ceiling, trouble with the door and I just felt like I was itching the minute I walked in!! Pics are deceiving!!! The lobby was the size of a small closet,breakfast/meeting room had no a/c very hot!!! Did not like this at all!!

Great location, not so great room

Pros: location, balcony, ocean view, amenities (microwave, refrigerator, free wifi, etc), and a very helpful person at the front desk (we arrived three hours early but were still able to go to the room). And the price was good for the room, although we paid more than the actual price of the room because of a generic reservation site... so go directly to the motel site or call for best rates. Cons: very approximate cleanliness (moldy shower curtain, dust and dirt behind furniture, etc), very strong cigarette smell in the room (take a non-smoking one!).

Great for the money but opt for ocean view

well overall my stay was ok, first its hard finding the hotel because it was not located near the main road like other hotel it was way in the back on ocean drive, so I drove around for about an hour finally found it checked in when I get to my room the carpet look really nasty and wet seems like they just washed it but only thing it was still a dingy the room was so smell because of the damp carpet and very dark no life to it, called the front desk told them about the carpet they said they will change me to another room no problems, got to the front desk they offered me an upgrade ocean view because of the problems and apologize which was really nice of them, ocean view room was a lil better, but love the view, I hate the doors hard to close and same doors leading out to the balcany, overall I would stay here again these things are really miner except the carpet issue upgrade its worth it in this hotel. I will stay again since I know now my DOs and DONTs

Walking distance to Main Street

This was a great hotel to stay in during Biktoberfest at Daytona Beach. All of the Main Street activities were well within walking distance. I most enjoyed the motorcycle parking being on the interior of the complex. There was plenty of parking and the motorcycles were much safer and secure.

Good hotel, great location

Price was reasonable. Wanted a hotel within walking distance from the pier and this hotel was perfect. Clean, comfy room.Would stay here again.

good for the money

The service is always excellent at this hotel. I've stayed here twice now. The rooms need more attention to cleanliness and maintenance. I had two light bulbs out in my room. The faucet in the tub/shower was opposite to get hot and cold water. So, at first I was very disappointed thinking I had to take a cold shower. Trying to make the best I decided let me try the opposite direction and behold there was nice warm water! The biggest issue at this hotel would be the lack of adequate parking, especially if you have an SUV. I would also applaud the staff for accomodating my vehicle with a trailer in tow in their overflow parking one block away from the rooms.

nice hotel bad neighborhood

The hotel was ok it was a great location right on the beach, but the neighborhood was not nice. We got there in the evening after a long day of driving. The front dest guy did was slow and did not know act like he knew what he was doing. And then while we were unloading all kinds of people were out walking the street and on drunk homeless guy was shouting at everyone. It just did not feel safe.

Party District!

The hotel was fine...if you're looking for a college spring break like getaway. The room was big and had a fridge/microwave which was nice. BUT, there were taxis out front all night picking up/dropping off people from the bars across the street/next door. LOTS of foot traffic. The first morning when I got up and went outside, there were two rooms of people passed out on the beds with the doors wide open. The pool was over-filled, and the shower did not drain well. It was in a convenient location though.

Great Room for the Money.

If you are looking for a comfortable room without a lot of glitz, and plan to spend most of your time on the beach or in the local shops and restaurants, this is a cost effective option.

Excellent Choice for the Money

The hotel is older and somewhat worn. However, our room was clean and comfortable. Also, the staff was wonderful and very prompt on service. The hotel is located beachside, with just a very short walk to the water. Would stay at this hotel again. Very enjoyable experience all around.
