Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 107Decent overnight stay.
The front desk staff was not very pleasant upon check-in but after the shift change the atmosphere improved. A/C did not work in our room... front desk could not promise when it would be looked at. Luckily a former hotel manager (not for this hotel) was staying with us and she knew how to reset the device. Parking details need to be clarified. Clean establishment, great breakfast, within walking distance to the Tabernacle (we were in town for a concert.) Stayed here before this trip and will stay here again. :)

The hotel is in a convenient location near the convention center. The service was fine, except the breakfast area was very crowded. The hallways and room carpeting were not clean and needed maintance. The walls were paper thin and you may not get a good night's sleep. Stay in a better hotel if you can afford it.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 107"Terrible Experience"
Our stay here was terrible. The first room they gave us had a terrible smell and the carpet was dirty. We called and asked for some air freshener and then they started jack hammering on the floor directly above us. The front desk had not mentioned construction, but upon calling back down they informed us that they were rennovating and the construction noise would be continuing for another two hours! We then asked for another room away from the construction. The second room was cleaner and away from the noise, but still looked nothing like what their picture had shown. Had a terrible time later that night trying to get the front desk to help us call a cab. Have stayed in other cheap hotels in the area that were much better than this one.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 107Great location
I found the hotel to be a good value for downtown Atlanta. The parking fee of $15 was less than what other similarly located hotels charge. The hotel is not as modern, as some others, but I was happy with my room. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that I would have liked more variety in the continental breakfast fare.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 107DON'T STAY!!!!
I don't know if they were renovating or not but the whole setup looked hunted in the inside! My room was awful! Carpet was two toned looked as though someone had spilled red kool-aide on it, the room smelled like fresh paint, the bed looked uncleaned my friend and I were afraid to sleep under the cover, we had to go out and buy blankets so that our skin didn't touch the comforters. We wore flip flops the entire stay. The bathroom was the only decent looking thing in the entire room but because the rest of place looked so bad we wore the flip flops in the shower as well. When asked if we could change rooms the attendent said he would check on it for me and get back with me and never did. When asked about ice we were directed to the 2,4,and 6 floor in which the 6th floor looked like a war zone! I don't know what happened to this place from the last time that we were there about 2 years ago but Lord have mercy, this place was awful, I wouldn't recommend my enemy to stay here! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

I felt safe in this hotel, and it had the cheapest rates in the surrounding area (I couldn't afford to stay at the nearby conference hotel). I stayed at this hotel for price and price alone. In any case, I thought that the hotel had a bad odor, the breakfast area did not seem clean, and my towels and bedding were in need of a wash. I just had this overall icky feeling the whole time I was in the hotel. It didn't help that the hotel was overrun with concert-goers on the last night of my stay -- folks who were constantly smoking in the hallway and slow-moving elevator. Next time I'll probably not attend the conference or find the money to stay at another place.

Slept on top of sheets, never touched floor without shoes or socks. Smelled. Dirty. Slimy. Gross

The hotel was not very well kept. We had to try three different rooms before accepting one. The overall impression is that surface level things are kept well (lobby, breakfast room, etc), but the general condition of the rooms was no so good. The mattresses are old (uncomfortable and you roll to the middle). The towel and washcloths are worn and thin. We had a towels in two different occasions that had curly hair stuck in them. WiFi worked in the lobby, but not in our room as advertised.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 107Really Pleased
we stayed 2 nights for the apparell market. It was a nice walk and felt very safe. The staff was helpful with directions, too. Store located off of the hotel and was very convenient. Rooms were clean a little small, but we really were not in them much but to sleep and dress. Very pleased. Will probably stay there next visit. Price was great!

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 107Not a great experience
I was in ATL for a convention, and found out other colleagues stayed at better hotels for the same budget. The surrounding were very dismal. I was constantly harassed for handouts by homeless people. So much so, I didn't want to leave my room some nights. My room smelled bad, and the toilet leaked and made noise intermittently throughout the night. One of the days, it seemed as if there was construction upstairs and someone was swinging a hammer for a few hours. I will not choose this place again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 107Why Consider Staying Here?!
This hotel was horrific, it was similar to what I would expect had I been a child forced to live under a staircase. Our room was barely large enough to house our bed let alone comfortably navigate around it. The bathroom sink was filthy, the faucet was broken and falling out of the top of the sink. There were large yellow stains on the wall next to the toilet which I can only assume was the urine from our rooms previous tenants. 50% of the staff did not wear uniforms so it was impossible to find help from any of them. The ones that were dressed appropriately struggled to answer even the most basic of questions regarding their accomadations. This fact may not have been so bad, but I felt even less compelled as our stay progressed to ask any questions because many of the questions were answered with terribly uncaring attitudes. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money and stay somewhere that doesn't resemble something from a horror film.
