Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 13Needs new beds & linens
Clean but old. Beds and linens were too old. Fine for a quick sleep if you can sleep on the older worn bed but would not recommend for a long stay.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 13Fine but lousy bed
Met my expectation except for the mattress, which was of the very cheapest quality.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 13Super 8
Very good value for money. The clerk smoked a lot and smoke was evident down the first floor hallway, which was very annoying, esp if yuo have allergies.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 13Bathroom not clean
The people were nice and a great location, however the bathroom was a complete mess and did not look like it had been cleaned in a long while. The clerk did say they had new people and he would bring it to the managers attention and offered a $10 credit on the room.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 13Needs improvement
We had a 3 night stay. They did not provide hand towels on the first night, nor decaffeinated coffee. The second night, they "forgot" the hand towels, the bath mat, and coffee. I went down to the desk, and they provided it to me. The wireless service wasn't. After receiving no signal, I was able to tie into the Abingdon wireless network, so was able to use the net, however, the hotel service never worked through the entire visit.

bathroom needed updating and some maintenence. Other than that the room was nice.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 13Very Good Value
Other than one small problem we were very satisfied: friendly people, ok breakfast (other hotels do better here, but charge more also), convenient to one of the flagship grocery stores of "Food City", which is headquartered nearby, and in our case just a short ride over to the start of the Virginia Creeper Trail. We did have a slow draining tub. Not great, but all things considered, we were very happy with the room.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 13Not bad for a night
Decent hotel, close to shopping and restaurants. Worth a stay if you are just passing through. Free breakfast as well. (Just the basics, coffee, cereal, and danish)

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 13Needs a good housekeeper
There was an easy chair in the room (recliner) that looked as though someone picked it up at a dump; it stunk as though someone sat on it after going a week without bathing. The tub had a ring around it; there were several locations in the room that were missed by housekeeping for at least a few weeks! However, other than the above, a person could be happy with their stay.
