Minimal

The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located to the local interests we wanted to see, the Brookville Hotel Restaurant, Seeley Mansion and Eisenhower Museum. The front desk persons were nice enough. My only negative comment was that a person in our group had called the hotel about 20 minutes after our departure to report that she had left her personal pillow in the room and would return in 4 days to pick it up only to find that they did not have it!

You get what you pay for

Aside from very friendly hotel staff and allowing pets, it's a no frills hotel. It's moderately clean, moderately comfortable, and moderately priced. There are both better alternatives around (though none that allow pets in Abilene), and worse alternatives. We'd stay here again, but wouldn't go out of our way to stay here versus other options along I-70.

a little out dated

The people who work there are very plesant and most helpful. The room was basically clean but a little untidy. Blankets vere not of great quality and the bed was a little lumpy. There aren't many options for this area, so we would stay again, reluctantly.

did not make it

Hey we were not able to spend the night. We are sorry we did not notify you BUt by the time we figured out we could not make it It would not have mattered. We Live IN Kinsley KS We are 25 miles from where the Greensburg KS tornado went through. We were without out electicity for a week. So That islife we are sorry we didnt spend the night nothing personal. WE would have used the hotel for a over night stay on our way to a family member's college graduation from Kansas State University.
