Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 11Very good kept hotel with lots of things to do around
I read reviews that rooms are too small and booked a super double - was a mistake - too huge. If people come to Japan to spend their time in the hotel in that case it is OK. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Lots of dinning around. It has and exit to the mall where you can do shopping or eat. The only minus for me was that it is not very close to the station - you have to walk 15 min, it is a big deal after all day long of walking around the city.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 11Good hotel for the price
The hotel is conveniently located in the Ikebukuro area. There are lots of restaurants, shopping, and mini-mart in the hotel. Be aware that you have to pay for internet access; it is not free.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 11Great Location
Right in Ikebukuro, close to train station and entertainment. Also pretty cool that it was accessible to Sunshine City mall. Clean rooms and neat view from the 40th floor of the city. A few negatives, but nothing that would keep me from staying there again. Our room was non-smoking but still smelled like smoke. We were out with friends until after the mall closed and had to walk all the way around the entire city block to find the main hotel entrance, which wasn't exactly labeled well. The staff was helpful and pleasant but not overly so, possibly as this is such a busy hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 11Excellent hotel
This hotel was very nice with an excellent location. The staff was friendly and having one exit lead into a mall with hundreds of stores was nice. Seattle's best coffee and a Family Mart on the premises was great.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 11Great Hotel
This hotel is a very good value, and its location near Tokyo's Sunshine City shopping mall is ideal. The lobby is very busy, but the staff was always very helpful and courteous. There is a Family Mart off the lobby, and a Seiyu grocery store adjacent to the mall, so inexpensive food is very close by. The walk to Ikebukuro station is under 10 minutes, and there is a Tokyu Hands store on the way. This hotel's rooms have LAN access to the internet if you have a laptop PC, but it is currently 1050 Yen per 24 hours of use. You can borrow a LAN cable for free. There is a coin-operated terminal in the lobby for 10-minutes of surfing instead. There is also a post office across the street, as well as in the B-level of the shopping mall. The mall has all the popular chain stores. Great location, and very good value.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 11Decent quality and location for good price
The rooms are a bit small, but very clean. It is located a few blocks away from the Ikebukuro subway station (about 5-10 minutes walk). It was a bit confusing finding the hotel the first night, but afterward it was a very easy walk to the subway lines, and was conveniently located near the Ikebukuro shopping area.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 11Great Hotel But A/C Poor
The hotel was very well kept and serviced. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was that we could not get the room cool enough (it was June, which was a problem with all the hotels we stayed at in Japan); otherwise I was very happy there.
