old and moldy

warning---don't let them try to put you on the first or second floor of the high-rise! the rooms are in the inclosed pool and they smell like chlorine and feel like caves! took me a long time to get them to move me, and still not much better on high floor. carpets old and musty, a/c terrible and loud.

Wonderful place for families.

This hotel is family focused, with 2 pools and a 60 foot water slide, hot tub, and activities for kids its a wonderful place. Not to mention its located directly on the beach. If you can get an Ocean View room it is well worth the extra money. Its a great value with the kitchenette, you will save lots of money by not eating out all the time. I started going there 19 years ago with my parents, and now I bring my own family there. I can't even count how may times we have returned.

Good family hotel

Good hotel for families. Kid's enjoyed slice area,pool area kinda small,no hotel towels for pool area, needed to have your own.

during our stay, the hotel staff was always available and SUPER friendly. the pools are amazing. The hotel is built around families. lots of actiities to do. the hot tub overlooks the beach in its own gozeebo. we will be going back again and again. great price, great service, great location.

Good for the money!

The hotel was good for the price, it is not a 5 star resort, but I didn't pay for a 5 star resort. Good room, good pool, great beach!

Kid friendly

Hotel is definitely older, but in good condition. The beds in our room need to be upgraded. They are worn badly. The ease of keeping the kids satisfied is what we loved. The beach is easy to access and the pools are clean and heated. The slide is a big plus too.

Great tines at the Sun Viking

We went to Sun Viking because of the childrens play area. They had a great time. Also they really enjoyed the spacious kiddy pool. Would love to take them back again.

favorite spot in Daytona

Have been coming to Daytona for 20+ years. We just love it and the Sun Viking fab!

less money for this standard

more cleaning rooms and pool.changed bar.im looked for this area seven more hotels and motels and im knou sun viking is the best for this area.
