staying in Harvey

This room was ok, dirty floor, clean bath and bedding. We stayed a week and couldn't get fresh towels. The office hours are unhandy. The phone in our room was broke. Not the most quiet place and walls were thin, if you don't have trouble sleeping than you could stay there. We won't stay there again.

Needs Improvement

The carpet needs to be replaced. The service of the hotel needs improvement big time. Needs to accomadate the guest better. Need different lock system on doors, the keys don't work sometimes and you constantly have to keep trying.

Awful service, bad and dirty rooms

First at all, they gave me a smoking room, so when I asked for a non-smoking one, I was given a second room, this room's toilet was dirty, the bathroom had a whole in the cealing, and it didn't have a bathroom curtain, nor toilet paper, so I had to go back for a second time, and request yet another room, finally, I stayed in the third room and because the room was in the fisrt floor the humidity due to the hurricane was so bad, it gave me and my wife problems with our sinus. It's also important to notice that the staff service was really bad, and never offer an apologize for the inconvience, even worse, the lady was anoyed by us. The price was good, but I have stayed in clearer hotels paying the same. I will never stay here again, and don't recommend you to do it.

Great room for the money

for the money, this hotel and room fit my needs. However the walls were very thin and I could everything that was going on in the next room. Service at the front desk was a little slow also.

Outstanding Hotel!!! SUPER great!!

WE had an excellent time!!! The room was cold and comfy and convenient!!! The beds were clean, the bathroom was clean, the room smelled clean. We had a very comfortable stay with no interruptions from passing guests, cars, or rowdy passerbys!! The hotel staff was friendly and they helped us when our keys did not work the door, and they were not uptight about towels or anything else. I DEFINITLY enjoyed my stay and I will stay there again on my next trip to New Orleans!!!

Thin Walls

Only problem was the walls are so thin,you can hear everything in the next room and the bed squeaked but for the price,can't complain.

Okay For Money

Customer service sucks... The lady at the front desk had an attitude when we asked to switch rooms because the toilet only partially worked. it was good for the price i guess we only came in to sleep. the bed was okay and the ac blew really cold. we had to clean and disinfect the room when we first arrived the rest room was very bad... overall you get what you pay for.... i cant complain... i enjoyed my trip

Below Average

When I arrived at the hotel, I took my bags to the room and proceeded to use the restroom. Only to find out that the toilet was completely clogged. So I called the front desk to come help. In the meantime I decided to iron my clothes only to find out that the ironing board and iron had to be picked up at the front desk, how inconvenient. So I decided to go down to the front desk to get the iron/ironing board only to find out that my room would not lock. The door would close however without inserting a key you could turn the knob and walk right in. So now, in order to go back downstairs to the front desk, I would have to take my heavy luggage with me. I had to re-pack my bags into my car (or someone could easily walk into the room and steal my belongings), go to the front desk, and ask them for another room. They told me they were completely booked. So I asked them to call me when all issues were resolved. I never received a phone call and decided to stay at another hotel. The following morning I called the Sun Suites and asked them if the problems were resolved, they informed me they were resolved shortly after I left. So I asked why they didn't call me. The receptionist said they were so busy she forgot to call me. I requested a full refund and that was a big problem. They wanted me to pay for a room that wasn't functional and that I didn't stay in! Absurd. Long stressful story short I got my full refund and would not recommend this hotel.

Terrible service

It took the receptionist over 1 hour to check us in. They did not know which rooms were available so they made us wait for over 1 hour.
