Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 16Outstanding Resort
One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Has beautiful scenery and the rooms are very plush with all the accessories you could ask for. It was an excellent place to stay and very much recommended.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 16Amazing Hotel!
I don't usualy write any reviews, but was looking forward to share our experience in this Hotel. Surrounding the Hotels are beautiful views , the grounds are beautiful, very well maintained and Clean. The service is on demand, on the spot, Room service is one of the Best we have seen (and we have been in a fair share of 5 Star Hotels). The Rooms are Super Nice, Clean, Nice furniture and Bedding. Must be great experience in the Ski season. Highly recommend!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 16Service has gotten better...
....since my last stay. Can't beat the location. Spa service was excellent. Breakfast buffet has been downgraded since last year....much smaller selection than before which is a shame.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 16Great Service - Great Location
This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are great. The service is fantastic. And the location is perfect IF Deer Valley is open. We spent Thanksgiving there and the dinner buffet was perfect! Please note that Deer Valley does NOT open for Thanksgiving so you need to take the shuttle to Park City if you want to ski over that particular holiday!

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 16Great Hotel
A great getaway weekend without kids. Very comfortable and cozy room. The turndown service was a nice treat with a robe and slippers to jump into. Our room was also always cleaned up upon arrival back to our room at night. Nice pool area and fitness center. You do have to use valet service for your car. A nice feature for most but since we came and went alot we would have been just as happy grabbing our car ourselves. Overall nice stay and a good weekend getaway.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 16Great Experience
My wife and I came up for the weekend before the ski season started to take advantage of the preseason rates. Stein Erickson really is a beautiful property and the staff are eager to help. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 16Well worth the stay!
I would strongly recommend the Stein Erikson Lodge(SEL)! When you consider the service, the amenities, not to mention the free shuttle service, this is the best value in Park City! As locals we get to check out many of the local places, and SEL is hands down worth it.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 16Extremely Dissapointed
We were very unimpressed and dissatisfied with our stay. Things started poorly when we did not get the room we were expecting, and our only option was to pay for an upgrade that we should have had in the first place. We declined that. When we got to our room, we were again unimpressed, and our room smelled musty and dusty. 5 diamond room? No. In the room, our remote did not work. When I called to have it replaced, we waited for over 20 minutes and no one showed up. At that point I called and cancelled the request. Front desk help was not all that friendly, nor did they offer any other solution, other than to have them come in the morning. 5 diamond service? Again, no. That evening we decided to dine in their restaurant. Good timing on the staining of the garage. Weekend? Not sure who's bright idea that was. That ruined the meal. We were also ignored while our waitress made small talk with another couple dining there. When we asked for our meal to go, the waitress was very unfriendly, she became almost angry and did not want to help us. Didn't want to give us silverware, seemed put out, and made us feel as though we were being 'soft' by not wanting to smell the toxic fumes of the stain and sit by an open door. Not anything near what was expected for an upscale, expensive restaurant. We were looking very much towards the Sunday brunch as well. When we walked in the fumes were still very present. And for any dining experience, let alone one for a '5 diamond' lodge, that is something that should not have to be dealt with. That experience was ruined, as we did not want to smell paint fumes all during breakfast. To top our stay off, the bell man broke a bottle of juice we had when he loaded our bags. For a five diamond hotel, we were extremely dissatisfied. The only part of our stay that was worth anything was the shuttle driver and his quick service and friendly attitude. We were hoping for an experience we would enjoy and come back to, one to share with friends,

This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in a long time.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 14 of 16Great for off-season rate, but didn't meet expectations
The hotel is nice, offers great amenities (free personal transportation to and from town & a Sunday Brunch that is absolutely unbeatable) but the service didn't really live up to its reputation. The drivers and doormen were very personable and helpful, but the individuals at the front desk seemed rather put out by us. No warmth or friendliness, just obligation. Our impression was that they had been burned out by the long, winter peak season and couldn't care less if another person came through the door. Bottom line - for the off-season rate we paid it was an amazing value, but we weren't treated as 5-star guests.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 16NIcest Hotel I've been to!
Excellent service, everything you could ask for, they even provide shuttle service in a Lexus. Excellent food, a relaxing lounge to visit and eat/drink at. One of the best times we've ever had as a couple.
