    The hotel staff made the stay worth the extended travel to downtown Tours. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but it is about 15 minutes from where we really wanted to be. The bathroom was my only complaint, with just barely enough room to turn around. It reminded me of a cruise ship bathroom.

Situated in the Loire Valley, the Hotel Stars Chambray Les Tours with its simple modern architecture is eight kilometers from the historic center of Tours. The 62 guestrooms follow a nautical theme, with blues, whites and jaunty seaside touches. All rooms are equipped with cable television, direct-dial phones, alarm clocks and complimentary toiletries.

Guests can enjoy the extensive buffet breakfast service, make use of wi-fi access in the lobby, or a quick nightcap in the hotel bar. The hotel can arrange wake-up calls and has meeting facilities for up to 20 people and plenty of free parking. Located just off the main A10 road between Paris and Bordeaux, the guests can enjoy good local transport links: the hotel is 500 meters from a bus stop and three kilometers from the TGV station. Guests can visit the nearby medieval castles of Amboise, Azay-le-rideau, and Chenonceaux, all within 30 kilometers. The nearest airport is Tours, eleven kilometers away.

The hotel's front desk is open from 7AM to 11PM during the week and from 7AM to 10PM on the weekends. Customers must arrive before 10PM or call the hotel if they plan to arrive outside these hours.
