Too far from Sydney attractions

The hotel was very nice, and the staff extremely helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was that it was too far from Sydney attractions. We took the train into downtown Sydney, and it got to be expensive.

great location

Staff was very helpful, room service was very very prompt, location by the airport was perfect. The discount with the three nights booking icing on the cake.

Sydney Airport Hotel

Nice Hotel very convenient to the airport. Shuttle was reasonable although it is hard to get used to the idea that you have to pay for the ride to the airport...."when in Rome". Room was comfortable: two issues which could have spoilt our stay if we let them, the clock radio didn't work and although the staff replaced the radio the new one was no better. The charge for internet was exorbitant 55cents per minute or a maximum of $AUS29 per 24hours.

A good hotel for a short trip. A little rough around the edges, but only if you look closely. Rooms spacious & clean. Hotel is across from entrance to domestic airport. You can walk to the terminal (about 10 mins.); as soon as you enter the terminal street level, you see the escalator leading to the train station, which gives you easy access to the city including downtown/Syndey harbor. Hotel staff efficient & friendly. There is a small convenience store (with ATM), a cafe & a deli just outside the main entrance, as well as a restaurant/lounge off the lobby. Regularly scheduled airport shuttle service for nominal charge (best to reserve in advance if you need to make a flight).

Good airport hotel.

Very clean and comfortable airport hotel, and veryc lose to the airport. Only drawback is that I think airport shuttle should be complimentary considering room rate.

Beautiful room and bathroom, horrible shower

I was expecting a luxurious overnight stay... this is what I got: I thought the concierge clerk was great, but then he didn't get back to me on my request. The rooms were beautiful, especially the bathroom. The shower however was horrible. The spout was so close to the wall that you had to press up against the wall in order to rinse off. The service at the restaurant downstairs wasn't that great but the food was good. We had a very long wait in the airport shuttle so the driver could go find more customers, and maybe have a smoke? You are also charged for the shuttle, which some websites don't mention (I think it was $10 Aus OW). We tried out the hot tub, but it wasn't quite hot enough and the jets weren't strong so it wasn't that enjoyable.
