Description
The St Pierre Park Hotel & Golf is a three-storey resort hotel overlooking a lake in 45 acres of landscaped gardens, one mile from St Peter-Port on the island of Guernsey. The 131 guestrooms have traditional decor with oak furnishings and include balconies with park or lake views, satellite television, complimentary wireless Internet access, and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms feature bathrobes and designer toiletries.
Guests have two dining options at the hotel: the Victor Hugo restaurant specialises in seafood, while Café Renoir offers live jazz music most nights in a brasserie-style setting. Drinks are available in the Terrace Bar where big screen televisions show the latest news and live sporting events. The hotel has a health suite, Le Mirage, which comprises a heated indoor pool with adjacent saunas, steam rooms and invigorating spa bath. Guests can also enjoy treatments from trained beauty therapists, visit the hair salon, or simply unwind in the relaxation room where daily papers, magazines, and complimentary drinks are available. The hotel offers a number of sporting and leisure facilities, including a Tony Jacklin designed 9-hole golf course where guests can take lessons and hire clubs and golf shoes. There are also three all-weather tennis courts on site, as well as facilities for croquet, crazy golf, snooker and more. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available at the hotel.
Guernsey's main town, St Peter-Port is a mile from the hotel, while the region of Brittany in north France can be reached by a 30 minute flight from Guernsey Airport, which is four miles from the hotel.
This hotel is currently renovating its guestrooms and public areas until November 30, 2009 (completion dates subject to change). As the accommodations are divided into two wings, guests will be located in the wing not undergoing renovation.
