Description
See more detailsThe St Pierre, A Marriott Hotel & Country Club, is a 14th- century manor house set in 400 acres of grounds in the rolling hills of South Wales, three kilometres from Chepstow Racecourse and 27 kilometres from Bristol. This three-floor hotel features 148 guestrooms with modern decor, wooden furnishings and light fabrics; some rooms also feature lake or golf course views. Amenities include satellite television with pay movies, tea and coffee making facilities, desks and trouser presses. Bathrooms have hair dryers.
Guests can dine on international cuisine in Morgan's, featuring antique-style decor, large windows and golf course views, or enjoy morning coffee and pastries in the hotel's Zest restaurant. They can also enjoy the 400 acres of grounds, including tree-lined fairways and an 11-acre ornamental lake, swim in the large indoor pool, work out on the fitness equipment, play tennis, and relax in the sauna and whirlpool. There is a health and beauty suite, and two 18-hole golf courses. Business guests can use the business centre, 11 meeting rooms and conference facilities, while other practical amenities include currency exchange, laundry facilities, and complimentary parking. The hotel is well placed for exploring the surrounding area; Caldicot Castle is seven kilometres away, and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is 25 kilometres from the hotel. Bristol Airport is two miles distance, an approximate driving time of 35 minutes.
