Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 14Absolutely Disgusting
*While entering the parking lot(at 3am), we noticed several people hanging out by their cars, looking extremely unsavory and unfriendly. That is when we realized that the entire area surrounding the hotel was downtrodden and very ghetto. As we got closer, it was absolutely clear that the women were prostitutes and the men, probably their clients or pimps. We also saw a woman getting out of one of the cars and proceeding to walk to and on the side of the highway in clothes that leave nothing to the imagination. Yes, there is not a doubt in our minds what she was doing. As we started leaving our vehicle to go to the front desk, we couldn't help but notice that we were literally jogging due to the fear we had of being robbed by the people hanging outside. * Upon entering the front desk informed me that they didn't have the room with the King Sized Bed I had paid for. Then he provided me with a key that didn't work. On my second trip down, he gave me the key to a room that was ALREADY occupied!! I didn't realize it was that easy to enter someone else's room. * The room was disgustingly sickening. There were visibly clear stains on all the sheets, cigarette burn marks in the covers and the towels in the bathroom had brown dried stains - Absolutely disgusting. We actually just went to a store and bought our own towels. The fixtures were broken and God knows how dirty the carpets must have really been. Interestingly, there was only one glass - I've never stayed in a room where only one glass was provided. * I took pictures of all the above, so that I could file a complaint with appropriate authorities. * If you are absolutely broke or could not find a hotel that late at night due to delayed flights (like me)...maybe you should consider sleeping in your car and using the shower at a local gym by purchasing a one day pass. * There's a reason why good hotels cost a money and bad ones are cheap.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 14Run, Forest, Run
Run away. First room was unmade with no sheets and broken glass on floor. Breakfast was marginal if not terrible. Cheap, but still not worth it. Any one who rates up this place must live with animals.

This hotel was very dirty! There was a dirty rag on the shower head and several weeks of soap scum beneath the soap tray in the shower. For a non smoking room, it had burn marks on the night stand, desk and on the bed spread. There was soda "spray" on the wall behind the TV and on the adjoining door. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 14Scary, Smelly, Dirty, Weird
I don't know what's going on here, but it doesn't seem like a hotel. This is a foreclosed place recently purchased by "people who don't know what they are doing" according to the front desk person. I actually was okay with the unclean circumstances, the urine on the toilet, the sticky carpet, no cable and no maid service the 2nd day. But what I wasn't okay with was the absolute horrible smell in my non-smoking room and the scary, dark, desolate feel to this place. But I feel they deliberately make it this way for some reason. The entrance lights are turned off, the sign outside is off, no lights in a completely open parking lot. When I arrived I wondered if the place was even open. The place is just weird, scary, smelly and dirty. As far as the price, you can either pay the same for better conditions or a tiny bit more for a better place. Good points: quiet, very quiet.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 14nice place
it was a nice hotel for the price we got it at. we stayed the weekend and our room was never cleaned. it was a nice and roomy room but when we left for the day and came back the room was the same way we left it and did not get any new towels or nothing. i would stay there again but would definelty ask in the beginning if i will be getting my room cleaned.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 14Good deal for the price
It appeared that the hotel had recently changed management and the employees were very eager to please. We only stayed for one night, but it was a pleasant experience. The room had a couch, internet connection, a window you could open. One of the glasses was very dirty, and, after recent news stories about germs on hotel room glasses (search YouTube), we would recommend that they use plastic cups sealed in cellophane instead. Besides the one glass, the whole experience was great.

This hotel was run down, the "breakfast" was inadequate, and the clerk asked us to clean up after ourselves. There was 2 kinds of cereal and apples, bad coffee. Our rooms were in need of paint and hotel needs a facelift. the security doors into the hotel were not secure, you could pull on them and they would open.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 14Outstanding Hotel
I stayed here while attending a dog show and the hotel was exceptional for the price. I have stayed in more expensive hotels that were not nearly as nice. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 14Great for the Money
This hotel was great for the money we spent!! You can't get a better deal. Location was good, a lot of restaurants around and right off the highway. If you planning on spending the weekend in Austin and just need a place that is clean to sleep at..then this is your place. Would stay here again.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 14Very clean and a great value
An upgrade in the featured continental breakfast and maid service will make it a greater value. More towels in the room and added variety in the in room coffee service will be nice. The in room microwave and fridge is a big plus and the easy freeway access is convenient.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 14Don't believe it's a 4 if there's only 2 reviews.
This hotel is in the hotel strip in north Austin. Granted it was cheap and last minute, the hotel was very dated. Room was clean but old carpet and old plumbing fixtures kinda grossed us out. No remote for the tv but then again it didn't work. Complimentary "breakfast" reminded us that you get what you pay for.

Expect to hear non-stop traffic noise from IH 35.
