Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 155Great Hotel HORRIBLE VALET! Cratched my car to the metal and NEVER said a word!!!
This Hotel is amazing - close to all the wonderful venues that St. Louis has to offer. From the Lumiere Casino, the arch, fun bars and of course the ball parks! Everything is walking distance and the historic buildings that surround you make the walk even better. The room was so clean, very nicely decorated, and right inside Union station. Union station has fun shops, great bars e.i. Hardrock Cafe and more! It's nice to end the night at a fun bar in Union Station that is just down stairs from your room! Now.. What I am NOT happy about... The valet scraped my car from the top of my driver’s door all the way to the back and NEVER mentioned a word. NOT acceptable.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 155Not convenient to Amtrak arrival station
I chose this hotel because I was arriving in St. Louis via Amtrak. Unfortunately, Amtrak arrives at a "new" station about 3 blocks away from the old Union Station.

Beds were in need of replacement. Old style city hotel. Must leave car with valet. Breakfast in hotel restaurant was excellent. Very convenient to downtown and the Arch.

Beautiful lobby--restored grand hall of union station. friendly staff beds extremely comfortable rooms hallways not impressive outdoor courtyard pool with adjacent garden immediate neighborhood while safe does not have much to offer. If you don't mind walking Busch Stadium , arch... are about 1.5-2 miles away. Close to public transportation/expressways

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 155overpriced, outdated, uninformed
Disappointed with condition of room for the price; a friend stayed nearby at a cleaner, more updated hotel for half of what I paid. Room was really outdated and the staff (including concierge) couldn't answer the simpliest of questions. If it wasn't in their concierge guide, they were clueless (but nice about it). Quick valet service. Don't recommend staying in downtown as it is really run down and without many options for non-chain restaurants with mid-day hours (couldn't believe I couldn't find a good place to eat between 3-5 PM)

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 155Very Nice Getaway in St. Louis
The hotel was lovely and met all of our needs--comfortable and convenient to the activities we had planned in the downtown St. Louis area. Getting to our rooms required a little maneuvering (there is a gate from the Union Station shopping mall area that requires a room key to enter), but it did not cause much inconvenience. Our only slight concern is that the Union Station shopping and food complex seems a bit "past its prime" with many shops closed and a half-empty feel. There are signs that state that some significant renovations/upgrades may be in the works, which would be nice to see. It is a little depressing in its current incarnation. However, this did not effect our visit at the hotel in any major way. GOOD SPOT!

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 155Great Location
Great Location to the new stadium which is what we needed. Great price! Great room! Wish it had a fridge in the room though. And wish the mall had more stores open.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 155Very Pleased
We took a long weekend to see a baseball game and some other attractions that we've missed on previous visits. Our hotel experience was great. The kids were impressed that Dad took the family to such a nice place. Cool view of the courtyard with man-made pond, peddle boats and restaurants. We kept the window open at night to hear the fountains. Lots of shops and restaurants right there in Union Station, and we were within walking distance of Busch Stadium. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Fitness Center was well equipped, and club quality.

this hotel was hard to get around in. would be great for a family because of the activities going on at Union station. Walk to restaurants and Cardinal stadium. The actual hotel is not easy to get around in though
