Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 19Overrated
When they tell you that your room is overlooking a "garden courtyard" or "terrace," do not be fooled ---there may be a shrub or two in a courtyard waaaay down below, but the huge wall springing up from that courtyard (which apparently is the outdoor pool wall/foundation) is all you see.....rooms are cheaply done with fake wood flooring. If Madonna was spottted staying there, it must be that they have some fancy schmancy room designed just for her.....

we stayed there after a trip to the islands and were dissapointed. they sell this hotel in an untrue way. it is not a five star hotel by any stretch. and most of the people were rude.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 19Great value!
I got a great off-season rate for this boutique hotel. Excellent value for this high quality hotel. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of the Acropolis, which is spectacular, especially at night. Only down-side to this hotel is the location on the hill makes walking back from anywhere a bit tiring, but really not too bad.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 19great deal for the cost
fun hotel-very"in" crowd in the bar/restaurant-rooms on small side but if you get the right one(high floor-facing the mountain or city) its delightful. wonderful but small pool on the roof-hard to find a place to sun at prime times. All in all-i liked it a lot!

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 19Basic and Clean but Inconvenient
The hotel stands at the top of a hill that takes strong will and stronger legs to get to especially after a long day of sightseeing and walking up to the Acropolis. That said, the hotel is neat and clean and the staff was extrememly helpful and accurate in the information they provided. Only reason I would stay elsewhere is because it seems there are other hotels more in the center of town that would be more convenient to get to places to see.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 19Outstanding Hotel
This hotel was a very nice, upscale place to stay with a very very nice surrounding neighborhood. It was great for shopping and only a 10 minute walk to the Parliament building. I would definitely reccommend this hotel to others.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 19Disappearing towels
Overall, everything at the hotel was pretty much what you would expect. I enjoyed, my stay and the views of Athens. The only thing that bugged me was when I check into the room, there were two sets of towels in the bathroom for showers/baths. After a shower on the first day, I follow the "Conserve for the environment" instructions, but that set of towels was removed from the room, and never replaced. Just weird.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 19Good hotel - needs to bettter understand customer service
The hotel itself is ideally located (out of the heavy traffic areas, near lots of good restaurants, shopping and tourist sites). It is at the top of a steep hill and being in shape is a real plus. The front desk is not a warm and friendly environment. The bell captains are very curt - never a smile. Maybe they just are tired of tourists. we frequently had to wait several minutes to get someone to acknowledge our presence.

The hotel was gorgeous, far better than US hotels with similar rates. We enjoyed the rooftop pool with an outstanding view of the Acropolis. Very accomodating staff.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 19Lovely Boutique Hotel
Located in one of the nicest shopping districts of Athens, with views of the Parthenon, this hotel offers particularly lovely views at night. Our rooms were exactly as requested, king bed and twin beds, and located side-by-side which was a wonderful and thoughtful bonus. Tip: If you are walking around the area you can enter the hotel on the lowest level - minus 3 on the elevator pad - and save yourself a climb. The only weakness of the hotel was the pool area, which while adequate was a little grungy. On the other hand, the spa area was beautiful and the fitness room was equally so and very well equipped, albeit a little small.
