Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 29Best Value for Your Money
Despite negative reports about students and smelly dorms, my partner and I found the rooms to be very comfortable and quiet. Perhaps it was because of the summer season and few, if any, students were present. There was an ongoing baseball tournament with numerous Canadian and American teams, but they were very well-behaved and courteous. Perhaps the management kept family groups apart from the young people, but I found my room quiet and very relaxing. My only "gripe" was that I had a laptop with me and could not use it because the wi-fi signal was not available, or the front desk did not have the password; however there was a conference room available with a public computer; however, whenever the conference was in use, the computer would be unavailable due to privacy concerns. A previous guest complained about stains and smells. I encountered nothing of the sort and would highly recommend the St Claire Residence & Conference Centre as wonderful value for your buck, since nightly prices were a much better value than so-called discount hotel/motels.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 29great room for the money
close enough to downtown to get to the hot spots in 10 minutes, isolated enough to enjoy peace and quiet...with a greenbelt out back and a quiet college campus in front. paid under 50 bucks for a 2 bedroom suite. it would be cramped for more than 2-3 people though. kitchen consisted of a table, full size fridge and a microwave...and a bucket for recycling! it was clean, quiet and cheap!

not as close to the "downtown" area as i would have liked, but the hotel was clean and comfortable. there's not much more you can ask for!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 29Awesome
This place is great if you go with two couples. Its pretty much two rooms for the price of one! You each get your own bedroom with your own tv. You share a bathroom and kitchen with refrigerator and microwave. Its awesome. And they have a pretty good continetal breakfast. Cereal, bagels, fruit, juice etc. I would recommend this place anytime and with the price you cannot beat it!

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 29Unoccupied Dorm Rooms
St. Clair College Residence and Conference Center is just a dormitory with some extra rooms that you can book for a night or two. The staff is really friendly (and super helpful), but remember that you are staying in a dormitory with other college students.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 29Very nice, well, dorm
If you are staying in Windsor and don't mind being about 8 minutes from the casino, this place is amazing. Yeah, it's a dorm. I guess that's why it's so cheap. It's also amazing. It has a pretty large kitchenette and, off of that, two hotel rooms. Well, not exactly, but that's what it boils down to. And the entire facility is simply great. I had high expectations based on previous reviews. They were exceeded. If this place was right next to the casino, they could easily charge a ton and still be a great deal.

The staff are efficient and very helpful. The room was very clean. I only stayed one night, but it is set up to stay longer with refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The surrounding neighborhood was beautiful and a great place for a run or walk. Just 10 minutes from downtown Windsor.
