Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 2 of 21Parking Issue
I booked this trip for my parents and while they enjoyed their room, after having their car parked by VALET in the gated lot for 2 days, the car was returned and had been broken into ! The valet staff was accomodating but the front desk would NOT waive the $56 parking fee for my parents. They did cover the cost of getting the window fixed but my parents are still out $56. In my opnion this should not happen in a secured lot in which 2 people are attending 24/7 !

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 21Quite A Wonderful Surprise
This was a great hotel. The rooms were larger than expected. The lobby and room decorations were gorgeous. The large flat panel TVs on the walls were a nice touch. The lollipops at the front desk added a personal flair.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 21Noisy on the Weekends
This is a fabulous hotel if you tolerate the noise. It is located next to three clubs so on Friday and Saturday night the noise from the street is disturbing.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 21Great experience
We truly enjoyed the hotel compared to the price we paid. Parking at $28/night was rough, but couldn't find much better in downtown. My only small complaint, which probably is the same for every hotel in DOWNTOWN Baltimore is every night, we heard Police, Fire or Ambulance sirens THROUGHOUT the night. Busy town!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 21Great Rooms!
The rooms were very nice and had lots to offer. I agree with many of the other comments about the noise... we were out late and didn't mind the noise, but if you have kids or are a light sleeper, the walls are thin and the windows don't keep any sound out. It was a great location and we enjoyed our stay.

I booked a room here because I wanted to stay at a nice hotel... To say this was a 'nice hotel' would be a huge understatement! As soon as my friend and I walked into the room we were amazed. TWO big flatscreen tv's, a living area, huge bedroom, huge shower and THE most comfortable bed known to mankind. There is no doubt in my mind that I will stay here again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 21Convienant Location- Lots of Space
I recently stayed here for the Baltimore Marathon. The room was large enough to accomadate 3 tired runners and was very clean and felt new. The only somewhat negative thing about this hotel is that the valet service seems to be run by a 3rd party and as a result is very, very slow.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 21Poorly insulated rooms, drafty windows
I chose this hotel because I was traveling on business and was given the option to bring my family, and the location of Springhill Suites is okay for touring the Inner Harbor. The view from all of the rooms is terrible because of all of the tall buildings surrounding it and a lot of the buildings are undergoing demolition and renovation, so there was a lot of construction noise during the day. Not a big deal, but there is a medical center a couple of blocks away and we could hear the sirens all during the night. Also there is a club across the street and we could hear the thump of the music all night. I agree with the other reviewer who said the mattresses were way too firm, I did not feel well rested at all. Hard mattress and all kinds of outside noise made it very hard to rest in that room. Oh and there were always gnats in the bathroom, because the windows would not close/seal completely shut. I will not stay there again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 21Outstanding Hotel
My oldest daughter's graduation was held at the Baltimore Convention Center. We needed a hotel close-by since we had flown into BWI and we did not want to drive through Baltimore's crazy traffic. The Springhill Suites was a great choice. It was just a few blocks from the Convention Center and the Inner Harbor. Our 3 day and 2 night stay was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was nice also.
