Great Hotel

The room was very nice -- spacious, clean, nicely decorated. Very accomodating! We went with my parents. I called ahead of time to make sure our rooms were close together and that they had an elevator since my mother has a hard time with steps. They put us in an adjoining room and my parent's room was handicapped -- without my asking --- which was a blessing to my mom. Great breakfast, too!! Would stay there again any time.

Great hotel!

Everything in this hotel met and exceeded our expectations. We were only there for one night but I definitely would stay again and for a longer time. The full breakfast is a nice touch and is very filling.

Good Stay but Room was Odd

Everything about our stay was great. The staff was helpful as far as providing extra pillows and directions to local attractions.The breakfast was good and there were a variety of items to choose from for breakfast. We also used the indoor pool and hot tub. It was nice to have table near the pool to hold towels and other items. My only problem was that the walkway from the sitting room to the bedroom jutted out at an odd angle.This appears to have been a space saving measure which caused the TV to be positioned so it had to be moved in order to be seen. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Tarrytown-White Plains, NY area.

Convenient Location & Price

The SpringHill Suites Tarrytown/Greenburgh locacation was a great hotel for the money. Situated close to the interstate it provides easy access to Manhattan, Yonkers and White Plains. It's also within 5 minutes of Tarrytown midtown and 10 minutes from the quaint area of Sleepy Hollow. There's a TGI Friday's within a short walk which had some of the best service I've ever experienced at a TGI Friday's. The breakfast is great with waffles, eggs, sausage etc. offered as well as cereals, juices and toast. I also find the short 40 minute train ride from the nearby Tarrytown MTA North train station to make staying here an option which provides the best of both worlds....suburbia and Manhattan.

Wonderful Suite!

Great! Perhaps not spacious, but a remarkably efficient layout and kitchenette exceeded all expectations. Attending nearby music festival during this stay and found room to be ideal for this purpose as if custom designed to meet needs. Cannot imagine it to be at all commfortable for more than 2 even for a very brief period but *perhaps* adequate for 1 or 2 very small, young children and 1 to 2 adults. Overall impression is a resounding thumbs up and without question/hesitation will be staying here again next year during same festival.

Poor staff training, crappy jacuzzi, and way overpriced

My dissatisfaction began with the inflated cost, a full 50% more than a Springhill Suites I stayed in three weeks before. I decided to overlook this and was greated by a staff member (Ashley), who put me as far away from the elevator as humanly possibly, after not asking if I had a preference. Did not tell me when the facilities would be available, nor when the complimentary breakfast bar hours would be. This was topped by a poorly maintained pool area with a jacuzzi that shot water up and in your face the whole time. I would safely say that I would never consider staying here ever again. Primarily, because added cost is not accompanied by added service.

"Great Hotel"

The rooms were comfortably laid out with enough room to move and get from area to are without great difficulty. The staff was very friendly and always said hello upon entering.

Too SOft Bed

The king size bed was a big dissapointment--way too soft!
